Police Blotter: Theft And Vehicle Burglary

Naperville Police Department reports, Dec. 1

Theft

  • Jennifer Jean Stevens, 28, of the 100 block of South Wisconsin Avenue in Villa Park, was arrested at 7:28 p.m. at a Mobil gas station at 1420 E. Ogden Ave., police said. She was charged with theft. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Laura Jan Smith, 24, of the 1700 block of Harris Lane, was arrested at 1:33 p.m. at her home and charged with theft, police said. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Someone reported in the 400 block of South Route 59 that a man in his early 50s removed two bicycle lighting systems and fled in a newer maroon SUV, police said. The total loss was about $300.

Unlicensed

Mario Ferrer Puga, 34, of the 800 block of Hammond Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. in the 2700 block of Mistflower Lane and 103rd Street, police said. He was charged with driving without a license. His bail was $1,500.

Vehicle burglary

A 16-year-old girl reported someone stole a baby bag from the front seat of a car in the 1100 block of East Ogden Avenue between 8:40 and 9 p.m. Wednesday.
