Sunday Feb. 20

Interfering with an officer

Ronnie M. Johnson, 26, of the 1700 block of North Devon Drive in Glendale Heights, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. in the first block of Jefferson Avenue. Police said he was charged with interfering with an officer and criminal trespassing. His bail was set at $120.

Driving under the influence

Police said they arrested Araceli Chavez, 32, of the 800 block of Westshire Drive in Joliet, around 2 a.m. near the intersection of South Washington Street and South Naper Boulevard. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count each of driving a vehicle with an expired registration and improper lane use. Her bail was set at $3,000.

Jada N. Banks, 24, of the 1100 block of Red Clover Drive in , was arrested around 2:50 a.m. near the intersection of South West Street and Aurora Avenue and charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane use, according to police. Her bail was set at $3,000, police said.

Saturday, Feb. 19

Fighting

Sean P. Greany, 40, of the 100 block of Iroquois Drive in Clarendon Hills, was arrested around 1 p.m. near BlackFinn American Saloon, 16 W. Jefferson Ave., and charged with fighting. Police said he grabbed the bar's bouncer by the hair when he was being escorted from the premises. His bail was set at $120.

Mother and son reunited

Police said a mother was reunited with her son around 6:40 p.m. after she forgot him at Chuck E. Cheese, 1154 E. Ogden Ave., . No additional information was included in the report.

Possession of a fictitious identification card

Robert J. Kapusta, 20, of the 100 block of East Washington Street in Lombard, was arrested around 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block of North Loomis Street, and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of a fictitious/unlawfully altered identification card, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.

Warrant arrest

Shannon L. Sauerwein, 29, of the first block of South Whispering Hills Drive in , was arrested around 1:45 p.m. at her home on two warrants out of DuPage County, police said. Her bail was set at $19,000.

Retail theft

Noemi Loera-Lara, 37, of the 400 block of Watson Street in Aurora, was arrested around 4:15 at a business in the 3100 block of 111th Street, police said. She was charged with retail theft. Her bail was set at $1,500.

Aggravated driving under the influence

Thomas G. Jordan, 46, of the 1400 block of Grand Haven Road in Romeoville, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Lakeview Court and Stoney Brook Drive, where he was found slumped over the wheel of his vehicle, police said. He was charged with aggravated driving under the influence and improper lane use.

Disorderly conduct

John E. Tatman, 51, of the 1800 block of South Washington Street in , was arrested around midnight at his home, police said. There he was charged with disorderly conduct and assault. Police said he threatened to kill his neighbor and his or her family if they didn't keep the noise down. His bail was set at $120.

Christmas tree 'planting'

A 49-year-old woman, who was parked in the 200 block of South Washington Street in , reported that someone placed a Christmas tree behind her vehicle, police said. The woman said she believed the tree was "planted" there between 9:50 a.m. and 10:10 a.m.

Driving under the influence of drugs

Michael A. Jenn, 23, of the 3800 block of Berview Lane in St. Louis was arrested around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Book and Grommon roads, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and improper lane use. His bail was set at $3,000.

Jesus Romero, 20, of the 1200 block of Summit Avenue in Aurora, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue on a failure-to-appear warrant out of DuPage County. He was also charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. His bail was set at $5,000.

Violation of counterfeit item act

Kimberly J. Frachey, 52, of the 1500 block of Coral Drive in Yorkville, was arrested around 4 a.m. at her home on an original warrant for violation of the counterfeit item act, police said.

Snipped wires, lock removed

Police said a 27-year-old man, who was parked in the 1200 block of West Jefferson Avenue in , reported that the window and lock control unit was removed from inside of his vehicle. The man also said wires in the car had been snipped. He said he believed car was damaged between 1:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Chase R. Buskirk, 26, of the first block of Forest Avenue in , was arrested around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Aurora Avenue and South Birchwood Drive, police said. He was charged with driving without wearing a seat belt, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid driver's license and operating a vehicle with an expired registration. His bail was set at $1,500.

Devan M. Dixon, 18, of the 1200 block of Summit Avenue in Aurora, was arrested around 8 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue. Police said they charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $120.

Friday, Feb. 18

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Shivan Zeynali, 18, of the 2200 block of South Crescent Lane in Aurora, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Leverenz Road, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of drugs. His bail was set at 3,000, police said.

Scratched car

A 52-year-old woman reported that she discovered scratches on the side of her vehicle, which was parked in the 200 block of East Bailey Road in , according to police. She said she had reported another set of scratches once before and that she believed her neighbor was the one responsible. She said she believed someone damaged the car between 1 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.

Street sign crash

A vehicle crashed into a street sign and post located near the intersection of Ring and Saw Mill roads in , police said. The accident was not reported to police, who discovered the damage around 8 a.m. They said they believed the accident occurred overnight.

Driving under the influence of alcohol

Michael T. Hoppenrath, 24, of the 900 block of Moultrie Court in , was arrested around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, police said. He was charged with failure to notify the secretary of state of an address change, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving a vehicle with no front or rear permit display, speeding over the statutory limit and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was set at $3,000.

Possession of marijuana

Matthew J. Jones, 18, of the 1800 block of Pampas Circle in Bolingbrook, was arrested around 9:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of 95th Street and charged with possession of marijuana, police said. His bail was set at $120.

Warrant arrest

Morgan M. Weber, 25, of the 1200 block of Rhodes Lane in , was arrested near the intersection of East Interstate 88 and North Naper Boulevard on a failure-to-appear warrant for contempt of court out of McLean County, police said. Her bail was set at $250.

John B. Marshall, 48, of the 1600 block of Maroon Bells Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested around 2:45 p.m. at his home on an original warrant, police said. He was charged with violating an order of protection and stalking. His bail was set at $50,000.

Darien Harris, 45, of the 2000 block of Fox Pointe Circle in Aurora, was arrested around 1 a.m. near the intersection of East New York Street and South Route 59 in Aurora on a failure-to-appear warrant, police said. His bail was set at $3,000.

Joseph John Jerome Mollohan, 21, of the first block of Nottingham Drive in Elburn, was arrested around 7:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Aurora Avenue on a failure-to-appear warrant, police said. He was also charged with improper lane use, failure to use a turn signal when required, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without a valid driver's license.

Shattered windshield

A 43-year-old man of the 1700 block of Auburn Avenue in reported that the back window of his vehicle had been shattered. He said he believed the damage occurred between 7 p.m. Feb. 17 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 18 and didn't know what was used to cause it, according to the police report. The vehicle was not entered and nothing was missing, police said.

Obstructing identification

Carlos Aceves, 22, of the 4300 block of East 2925th Road in Sheridan, was arrested around 11 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Route 59 on an original warrant, police said. "He was also charged with obstruction identification and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was set at $3,000.

Suspicious relationship

A resident reported seeing a child and an adult man "who appeared to be an unusual pair" around 2 p.m. at a business in the 1500 block of North Naper Boulevard in , according to the police report. The man possibly touched the child inappropriately, stated the report. Additional information was not included.
