Police Blotter: Suspicious Cars, Stolen Groceries, Dog Bite

Suspended/revoked license

Divan Matthew Stewart, 22, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. in the 37W 700 block of Route 38, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Theft arrest

  • Juan C. Jimenez, 27, was arrested at 8:52 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with theft. He posted bond. 
  • Jorge Nino, 22, was arrested at 5:44 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with theft. He posted bond. 

Warrant arrest

Jessica Monique Byrd, 26, was arrested at 4:14 p.m. in the 3000 block of Book Road, police said. She was charged on a warrant. She posted bond.

Suspicious vehicles

  • A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 2700 block of Breckenridge Lane, police said. 
  • A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Dupahze Street, police said. 

Trespassing

Extra patrol were requested to look for and remove people trespassing in the 500 block of Aurora Avenue, police said. 

Dog returned to owner

A stray dog was returned to the owner near Braemar Avenue and Brentford Drive, police said. 

Stolen groceries

Someone stole $97.79 in groceries in the 1200 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. 

Dog bite

Someone was bitten by a dog in the 1000 block of Sanctuary Lane, police said. 

Car keyed

A vehicle was keyed in a parking lot in the 400 block of East Bailey Road, police said.
