Police Blotter: Stolen Scope, Ecstacy Arrest and Resisting an Officer

Retail theft

  • Philip Anthony Carso, 26, of the 2S600 block of Continental Drive, Warrenville, was arrested at 6:33 p.m. at Kmart, 1199 E. Ogden Ave., police said. He was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing a Tasco Red Dot rifle scope valued at $37.79. His bond was $120.
  • Cami Joan Koptik, 38, of the 2700 block of Clara Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 2:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of West 75th Street where police said she was charged with retail theft. Her bail was $1,500.
  • A 26-year-old woman in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive reported that someone has been taking pills out of her prescription bottle for the last two weeks, police said.

Identity theft

David Pasharikoff, 35, of the 1000 block of Adelia Street, Downers Grove, was arrested at 10:38 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with identity theft. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Manufacturing

Ricardo Noe Zuniga, 22, of the 1800 block of Alma Drive, Crest Hill, was arrested at 3:29 p.m. at Prentiss Avenue and Woodward Drive in Downers Grove, according to . He was charged with having an improper plate/permit display, possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, having an expired registration, two counts of manufacturing more than 15 but less than 200 Ecstacy pills and for manufacturing more than 15 but less than 200 object/parts LSD. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Interfering with an officer

  • Cesar Aguilera, 28, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. at West 75th Street and Olympus Drive, police said. He was charged with driving without a license and improper lane use. His bail was $1,500.
  • Joyce Irene Reeves, 47, of the 1900 block of Lilac Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 2800 block of Fairhauser Court, police said. She was charged with interfering with an officer. Police said she was arrested for misuse of 911, according to police. Her bond was $120.

Suspended license

Joseph Caleb Vantellingen, 40, of the 1300 block of Plain Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 8:29 p.m. at Amersale Drive and North Aurora Road, police said. He was charged with driving with an expired registration and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
