Friday, Jan. 20

Driving under the influence

Anthony Andrew Tenuta, 31, of the 1200 block of McAlpine Drive in Inverness was arrested at 12:35 p.m. in the first block of Apache Drive and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $3,000.

Child pornography

, 47, of the 5900 block of Rosinweed Lane, was arrested at 8:44 a.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Ave., police said. He was charged on an original warrant related to two counts of child pornography/film/tape/photo/act and two counts of aggravated child pornography.

Possession

John Jose Olyapurathu, 19, of the 2600 block of Homestead Drive, was arrested at 12:57 a.m. in the 1700 block of Conan Doyle Road and Barnes Lane, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture and delivery of 30-500 grams of cannabis. He was taken to the Will County Jail.

Burglary

Someone reported in the 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue that the front door lock latch plate of a home was dislodged by prying between 8:10 p.m. Thursday and 9:24 a.m. Friday, police reports said. No entry was made to the home but the lock mechanism had to be replaced.

Saturday, Jan. 21

Driving under the influence

  • David V. Drapal, 24, of the 100 block of Galewood Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:44 a.m. at 75th Street and Bell Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use. His bail was $3,000.
  • Kenneth Richard Hurdle, 29, of the 5200 block of Coneflower Drive, was arrested at 3:08 a.m. at 95th Street and 248th Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions, possession of cannabis, driving without insurance, vehicle failing to give right of way to an emergency vehicle and failing to notify of damage to an unattended vehicle. His bail was $3,000.

Theft

Sergio Ovalle, 34, of the 2S700 block of Winchester Drive in Warrenville, was arrested at 9:54 p.m. at Goodwill Industries, 539 Fort Hill Drive, where he was charged with retail theft, police said. He allegedly stole a number of Matchbox cars, locks and a hat. He placed the items in his coat pockets and left the store, according to police reports. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Suspended license

  • Samantha J. Perez, 31, of the 5S000 block of Pebblewood Lane, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. at Route 59 and Meridian Lakes Drive, police said. She was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license.
  • Maria Teresa Hernandez, 35, of the 1000 block of Harmony Drive in Montgomery, was arrested at 4:59 a.m. at South West Street and West Hillside Road, police said. She was charged with driving without insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license and obstructing identification. Her bail was $2,000.
  • Timothy Lydell Bowie, 25, of the 1300 block of McDowell Road, was arrested at 4:14 p.m. at Plainfield-Naperville Road and Conan Doyle Road, police said. He was charged with interfering with an officer, speeding over the limit and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bond was $150.
Saturday, Jan. 22

Driving under the influence

Christopher Hunter Long, 25, of the 300 block of Bruce Farm Circle, of Simpsonville, SC, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. at West Ogden and Jefferson avenues, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, two counts of carrying/possession of a firearm and speeding over the limit. His bail was $3,000.

Fighting

Daniel Richard Siciliano, 24, of the 100 block of Ardley Court, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. at East Chicago Avenue and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120. 

Possession

  • Aaron Joseph Ward, 19, of the 1100 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. in the first block of West Van Buren Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.
  • Andrew David Kirkland, 19, of the 900 block of Millrace Lane, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. in the 200 block of Millcreek Lane, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of liquor by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.

Unlicensed

Maria Elvira Cabral-Gonzalez, 48, of the first block of South Edgelawn Drive in Aurora, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. at White Eagle Drive and South Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving without a license and disobeying a traffic control device. Her bond was $150.

Warrant arrest

Nicholas Steven Tannish, 34, of the 5500 block of Main Street in Downers Grove, was arrested at 2:02 a.m. in the first block of West Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged on two failure to appear warrants, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Criminal damage

Someone in the 300 block of Book Road reported that someone shot a BB gun at a vehicle and cracked the windshield, police said.
