Police Blotter: Stolen iPod, Cellular Phone and Warrant Arrests

Driving under the influence

Humberto Regalado, 35, of the 400 block of Clifton Avenue, Romeoville, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. at Weber Road and Jennifer Lane in Bolingbrook on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. His bail was $3,000.

Theft

  • Jeremiah Matt Micallef, 29, of the 3600 block of North Pine Grove, Chicago, was arrested at 26th Street and California Avenue, Chicago, on an original warrant for theft, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A 12-year-old boy in the 1000 block of River Oak Drive reported that between 3 and 5 p.m. his cellular phone was stolen from his backpack in the locker room while he was at football practice, police said.

Vehicle Burglary

  • A 21-year-old man in the 1600 block of Lisa Court reported that between 12:30 and 2:45 p.m. his driver-side window was smashed and an iPod Touch was stolen, police said.
  • A 25-year-old man in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive reported that between 8 a.m. Aug. 29 and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday his vehicle was forcibly entered after someone punctured a hole below the door lock of the passenger-side front door, police said. It was not specified if anything was taken.

Driving without a license

Marco Antonio Trenado, 23, of the 900 block of Superior Street, Aurora, was arrested at 8:22 p.m. at Golf Ridge Circle and Shore Road on charges of driving without a license and with an obstructed windshield, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Driving on a suspended/revoked license

  • Manuel Tomas Mayancela, 42, of the 3400 block of West Barry, Chicago, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. at North Aurora Road and Route 59 on charges of driving on a suspended/revoked license, driving without insurance, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver and failure to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions, police said. His bond was $250.
  • Abel Montoya, 30, of the 1600 block of Appletree Lane, West Chicago, was arrested at 10:33 p.m. in the 400 block of Fort Hill Drive on charges of disobeying a traffic control signal, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.
  • Miguel A. Tello, 33, of the 400 block of Beach Street, Aurora, was arrested at 8:53 a.m. at 111th and Plainfield-Naperville Road, on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and having an improper plate/permit display, police said.

Warrant arrest

  • Kendrick Alex Johnson, 41, of the 1500 block of Fairway Drive, was arrested at 7:37 p.m. at his home on a warrant for a parole violation, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Anthony Lynn Bonds, 46, of the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue, was arrested at his home on an original warrant for burglary. His bail was $50,000 and he was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Eric Michael Willmann, 39, of the 600 block of Kingbrook Crossing, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1 p.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Ave., on an original warrant for two counts of failing to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions and reckless driving, police said. His bail was $4,000.
  • Roosbell Carrera, 30, of the 400 block of North Union Street, Aurora, was arrested at 9:01 a.m. in the 22000 block of 111th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road on a failure-to-appear warrant.
