Alleged pot possession

Jennifer M. Sumner, 20, of the 27100 block of Wayfaring Lane in Lisle, was arrested around 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of North Mill Street and West Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with using the license/permit of another, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Police said Dustin J. Hausmann, 23, of the 1200 block of Prigden Road in Myrtle Beach, S.C., was arrested around 11:45 p.m. near the intersection of South Route 59 and 95th Street. He was charged with possession of more than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams of marijuana, speeding over the statutory limit, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was set at $1,500.

Smashed windows

A 24-year-old man, whose vehicle was parked in the 5300 block of Switch Grass Lane in , reported that the front and rear driver's side windows of his car had been smashed. He said he believed someone broke them between 8 p.m. Sunday and midnight Monday. Nothing was missing from inside the vehicle.

Missing bike

A 43-year-old woman, of the 800 block of Alamosa Court in , reported that a bicycle was missing from her residence. She said she believed it was stolen overnight.

Driving under the influence

Police said Troy G. Smith, 35, of the 200 block of North Dearborn Street in Chicago, was arrested around 2 a.m. near the intersection of East Ogden Avenue and Naperville Wheaton Road. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving a vehicle with an expired registration. His bail was set at $3,000.

Jerzy Kasperski, 53, of the 2300 block of Reflection Drive in Aurora, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wisconsin Street and East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count each of improper lane use and making an improper turn at an intersection. His bail was set at $3,000.

Stenciled Storm Trooper

Police said someone used spray paint and a storm trooper stencil to deface a piece of property in the first block of East Chicago Avenue in . The graffiti was reported around 10:15 a.m.

Cut cords

A 47-year-old man, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive in , reported that someone cut two extension cords leading from his garage to a nearby exterior outlet. He said he believed someone cut them between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
