Police Blotter: Spray-Painted Swastika; Sex Rendezvous

Naperville Police reports, March 2, March 6-7.

Monday, March 7

Drug paraphernalia

Jacob T. Rinehart, 18, of the 800 block of Ramsgate Court in , was arrested around 9:40 p.m. near the intersection of South Naper Boulevard and East Bailey Road, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. His bail is was set at $120.

Warrant arrest

Mitchell P. White, 25, of the 900 block of Elderberry Circle in , was arrested around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of South Washington Street and Robin Hill Drive on failure-to-appear warrant out of Will County. He also was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was set at $300, police said.

Stolen stethoscope

A 49-year-old man, whose vehicle was parked in the 700 block of Mesa Drive in , reported that a stethoscope was stolen from his vehicle, according to police. He said he believed someone broke in between 9 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.

Decorative block damages mailbox

A 47-year-old woman, of the 2700 block of Wendy Drive in , reported that her mailbox had been damaged by a decorative concrete block "from another location," according to the report. She said she believed someone broke the box between midnight and 5:30 a.m.

Spray-painted swastika

Police said someone painted a swastika and other words in white spray paint on the playground of Spring Brook Elementary School, 2700 Seiler Drive in . The report did not specify what words were included in the graffiti. Police said they believed the damage occurred between 3:15 p.m. Friday 4 and about 7 a.m. Monday.

Sex rendezvous

Police said a woman and a man were caught around midnight having sex inside of a vehicle that was parked in the first level of the parking garage at 75 E. Chicago Avenue in . Ages and charges were not included in the report, although it did reference disorderly conduct.

Sunday, March 6

Wallet snatched

A 25-year-old woman, who was in the first block of West Chicago Avenue in , reported that her wallet was stolen. She said she suspected it was taken between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Sunday.

Wednesday, March 2

Disappearing DVDs

A 49-year-old man, of the 1100 block of West Ogden Avenue in , reported that a set of DVDs that was delivered to his door on March 2 were missing.  He said he believed they were stolen between 3:20 p.m. and 10 p.m. March 2, police said.
