Police Blotter: Run of Car Burglaries, Cannabis Possession

Naperville Police Department reports, Feb. 2

Manufacture/delivery

Korre Alton Butler, 24, of the 3100 block of Bromley Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Indian Trail in Aurora, said. He was charged with manufacture/delivery-other amount of a Schedule II drug, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. 

Possession

  • Jordan Lee Ploense, 20, of the 11S000 block of Sheri Street, was arrested at 12:04 a.m. at Templar Drive and Buckley Court, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, driving without insurance, no driver’s license with him and not wearing a seat belt. His bail was $2,000.
  • Dimona Denise Pendelton, 29, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 12:46 a.m. in the 700 block of Inland Circle, police said. She was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was $120.
  • Keven Patrick St. Clair, 19, of the 1200 block of Natchez Trace Circle, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. in the 600 block of River Oak Drive and Winola Court, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.

Fighting

  • Christopher Brian Gorski, 23, of the 1100 block of South Charles Avenue, was arrested at 2:07 a.m. at Bar Louie, 22 E. Chicago Ave.. Suite 115, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.
  • Jeremy Alexander Driscoll, 24, of the 14000 block of Tanja King Boulevard in Orlando, Fla., was arrested at 1:07 a.m. at Bar Louie, 22 E. Chicago Avenue, Suite 115, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120. 

Driving under the influence

Mitchell Joseph Naumann, 27, of the 5800 block of Oakwood Drive in Lisle, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. at the intersection of West Ogden Avenue and Royal Saint George Drive, police said. He was charged with making an improper turn at an intersection and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Obstructing justice

Ryan Robert Alvarez, 37, of the 2200 block of Popple Court, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with speeding over the limit and obstructing justice. His bail was $1,500.

Expired registration

Joseph Edward Stout, 41, of the 26000 block of Silverleaf Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. at Sherman and Ogden avenues, police said. He was charged with having an expired registration. His bail was $1,500.

Suspended license

  • Elaine Visser, 24, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving with only one headlamp and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Andrew Allen Greer, 20, of the 2100 block of Glenworth Avenue, Louisville, KY, was arrested at 8:33 p.m. in the 700 block of South River Road and Goldenrod Drive, police said. He was charged with violating the lights and lamps act, driving on a suspended/revoked license and driving without insurance. His bail was $2,000.

Vehicle burglary

  • A resident in the 1500 block of North Columbia Street reported that they left an unlocked vehicle in the driveway and a Garmin GPS, radar detector and iPod Touch were stolen overnight, police said.
  • Someone in the 500 block of Chippewa Drive reported that a vehicle was broken into overnight and an Alpine power amp, Griffin iTrip, book bag and a Cobra radar detector were stolen.
  • A resident in the 1500 block of North Columbia Street reported that a vehicle was entered overnight and a Garmin GPS was stolen, police said.
  • Someone in the 400 block of Fairway Drive reported that a window was smashed in between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Wednesday and a GPS was stolen from the vehicle, police said.
  • A vehicle in the 600 block of Chippewa Drive was broken into between Jan. 22 and Thursday, police said. About $2 in change was taken and the glove box was broken open.
  • The owner of a vehicle in the 400 block of DiLorenzo Drive reported that sometime overnight it was burglarized, police said. A laptop, GPS and a wallet with a checkbook were stolen. The vehicle was locked and there was no sign of forced entry.
  • A resident in the 500 block of Braemar Avenue reported that an unlocked vehicle was burglarized overnight and two Pioneer turntables, a fraternity hooded sweatshirt and a bottle of cologne were stolen, police said.
