Police Blotter: Road Rage; Truck Coated in Ketchup

Fighting
J. Christopher Jonvany Montes, 25, of the 3100 block of Quincy Lane, Aurora was arrested around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Chicago Avenue and South Brainard Street, police said. He was charged with fighting after shoving a victim following a traffic altercation, police said. His bail was set at $120.
Warrant arrest
Latonya Rochelle Patton, 24, of the 800 block of Inland Circle, was arrested around 11:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Fisher Drive and West Diehl Road on a failure-to-appear warrant, police said. She was also charged with one count each of driving on a suspend/revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, according to reports. Patton was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Burglary
It was reported in the 700 block of Eagle Brook Lane in Naperville that a vacant house was entered between 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday, officers said. Approximately 200 pounds of copper piping, valued at $500, was removed from the house. There were no signs of forced entry and the house was secured Tuesday.

Theft
It was reported in the 600 block of North Route 59 that 12.75 gallons of unleaded gas, valued at $51, were taken without being paid for around 10:35 a.m., police said.
Criminal damage to property
A resident in the 1000 block of Hyde Park Lane said a Chevy Silverado was entered between 11:15 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday, police said. The resident told officers the Silverado was unlocked on the driveway and that the interior and exterior were covered with eggs and ketchup.

An individual in the 200 block of Barley Avenue said a vehicle was damaged while parked in the driveway between 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday, police said. It appeared someone sat on the windshield of the vehicle causing it to break, and the side mirrors were forced back causing damage.
