Police Blotter: Retail Theft Arrest, Possession of Cannabis, BB Gun Damage

Warrant arrest

  • Richard Okechuwu Ezeolisa, 23, of the 1000 block of Parkhill Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 9:52 a.m. at the , police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.
  • Tamra Tc Peterson, 33, of the 900 block of Addleman Street in Joliet, was arrested at 9:06 a.m. in the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, operating a vehicle without insurance and a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bond was $475.
  • Steven Timothy Simmons, 18, of the 0-99 block of Ventura Court, was arrested at 2:52 p.m. near South Birchwood Drive and Sunnybrook Drive, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, not wearing a seat belt and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $100.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Javier Barranca-Zaragoza, 27, of the 1700 block of Daisy Street in Aurora, was arrested at 10:58 p.m. near West Diehl road and CNRR, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
  • Timothy Calion Cross, 61, of the 400 block of South Fourth Street in Aurora, was arrested at 12:41 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with improper permit display, operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.

Obstructing justice

Anthony James Vitale, 44, of the 300 block of Morningside Drive in Bloomingdale, was arrested at 9:13 a.m. in the 2900 block of White Thorn Circle, police said. He was charged with obstructing justice. His bail was $5,000.

Violation of a protection order

Danny Ray Walker, 50, of the 1300 block of Parkside Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:51 a.m. in the 300 block of Briarcliff in Bolingbrook, police said. He was charged with violation of a protection order and transported to DuPage county Jail.

Possession of a controlled substance

Ronald Lee Rose, 28, of the 5700 block of Barr Court in Hanover Park ,was arrested at 4:55 p.m. near Carrolwood Road and Fort Hill Drive, police said. He was charged with retail theft and possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

No driver's license

Omar Villa, 23, of the 27W600 block of North Lane, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. in the 100 block of Washington Street, police said. He was charged with improper turn at an intersection, operating a vehicle without insurance, no driver’s license and driving in the wrong lane. His bail was $2,000.

Possession of cannabis 

Khalid Dawud Bin-Walee, 32, of the 1900 block of Lancaster Court, was arrested at 6:47 p.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis more than 10g and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to DuPage Coutny Jail.

Retail theft

  • Kimberly Ann Mathis, 35, of the 1800 block of Winnetka Circle in Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 4:41 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. She was charged with retail theft and possession of  a controlled substance. She was transported to Dupage County Jail.
  • Susan Maureen Fencl, 31, of the 1000 block of Bourne Lane in Schaumburg, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. near Carrolwood Road and Fort Hill Drive, police said. She was charged with retail theft and possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to DuPage County Jail.

BB gun damage

A glass panel on a door was shot with a bb gun in the 1300 block of Springdale Circle, police said.
