Police Blotter: Redimix Trucks Damaged, Woman Turns Herself In

Monday, June 18

Warrant arrest

Mireya Laura Hernandez, 27, of the 600 block of East Galena Boulevard in Aurora, was arrested at 7:32 p.m. at the , police said. She turned herself in at the police department and was charged on a failure to appear warrant from the DuPage County Sheriff's Office. Her bail was $3,500.

Criminal damage

Someone in the 500 block of Spring Avenue reported that between Friday and Monday at 5:55 a.m. someone bent mirrors on four “redimix” trucks and through concrete through the passenger side window of another truck when the vehicles were parked in a parking lot, police said.

Hit and run

A 44-year-old woman reported her vehicle was hit while parked in a lot in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said. The incident took place at about 1:30 p.m.
