Police Blotter: Possession of Cannabis, Harassment, Scene from 'CaddyShack'

Possession of cannabis

Conner William Hiltenbrand, 18, of the 2700 block of Springdale Circle, was arrested at 4:22 p.m. near West Ogden Avenue and South Route 59,  said. He was charged with speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

Kamiesha Nicole Fowlkes, 26, of the 1100 block of South Mozart in Chicago, was arrested at 4:12 p.m. in Naperville, police said. She was charged with no driver’s license, not wearing a seat belt, obstructing identification, operating a vehicle without insurance and on three counts of failure-to-appear warrants. She was transported to DuPage County Jail.

No driver's license

Efrain Polanco, 39, of the 200 block of Regency Drive in Bloomingdale, was arrested at 9:33 p.m. in the 600 block of North Route 59, police said. He was charged with improper lane usage, no driver’s license and operating a vehicle without insurance. His bond was $200.

Suspended/revoked license

James David Leone, 23, of the 1100 block of South William Street in Westmont, was arrested at 11:54 p.m. near South Naper Boulevard and Hobson Road, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, title/registration possession offenses, driving on suspended/revoked license, expired registration and voided citation. His bond was $200.

Property damage

Someone struck a garage door in the 1500 block of Nicholas Court Tuesday night with an unknown object causing a large dent in one of the panels of the two-car garage door, police said.

Stolen property

  • Someone stole a grey and orange Echo commercial backpack blower from an open landscaping trailer in the 1600 block of Kiowa Drive, police said.
  • Someone entered a secured cell tower station in the 1700 block of North Aurora Road and removed six grounding buss bars. Estimated cost of replacement is $1,500, police said.
  • A plastic yard sign in a metal frame was taken from a home in the first block of West Franklin Avenue. The was from the Naperville Smart Meter Awareness Group and read, "Refuse Naperville Smart Meter." It was taken between May 17 and May 22. A no trespassing sign was also ripped, police said.
  • Police said a red bicycle was taken from a front lawn after the victim was clearing out their garage in the 2500 block of Carrolwood Road.

Harassment

A victim received harassing messages on Facebook from whom she believes is a family member of her ex-boyfriend, police said.

Someone's watching too much "Caddyshack"

Someone stole two flags and detonated a home-made type explosive device in the middle of a driving range at Springbrook Golf Course,  at 2220 83rd St. on Sunday night.
