Police Blotter: Prostitution, Theft, Cranky Bus Driver

Naperville Police Department reports, April 10

Tuesday, April 10

Prostitution

Rebecca Joy Zeller, 25, of the 2300 block of Auburn Drive in Rockford, was arrested at 9:08 p.m. in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue, the said. She was charged with prostitution and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Driving under the influence

  • Luke Clifford Wilson, 26, of the 3600 block of Shakespeare Lane, was arrested at 4:59 p.m. near Book Road and West 75th Street, police said. He was charged with illegal possession/transportation of liquor, failure to yield turning left and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.
  • Danielle Luz Shofel, 40, of the 25000 block of Michele Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 8:14 p.m. near Switch Grass Lane and High Meadow Road, police said. She was charged with failure to notify damage to an unattended vehicle and driving under the influence of drugs. Her bail was $3,000.

Unlicensed

Edgar Cadena, 22, of the 2000 block of Best Place in Aurora, was arrested at 6:48 a.m. near South Route 59 and 111th Street, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license, operating a vehicle without insurance and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $350.

Suspended license

Moises Cabrales, 42, of the 1400 block of West 50th Street in Chicago, was arrested at 9:32 p.m. near South Washington Street and Royce Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bond was $150.

Disorderly conduct

Edward Richard Anderson, 18, of the 100 block of West Oakley Drive in Westmont, was arrested at 3:24 p.m. in the 1200 block of Bond Street, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct after police said he made disruptive comments to students on a school bus, which presented a breach of the peace. His bond was $120. 

Theft

Anthony Larvell Poole, 28, of the 500 block of 49th Avenue in Bellwood, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. in the first block of Washington Street in Bellwood, police said. He was charged with theft and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Vehicle damage

A 53-year-old man reported that his vehicle was keyed on the 1300 block of Neskola Court on Monday night, police said.

Theft 

Police said someone removed five spare tires from passenger vans parked in the rear parking lot in the 1700 block of West Ogden Avenue sometime between Sunday and Tuesday. The estimated loss is $750.
