Police Blotter: Prostitution, K-9 Finds Cannabis, Criminal Damage

Naperville Police Department reports, Feb. 15

Wednesday, Feb. 15 

Possession

Ryan Doyle Baxley, 23, of the 1500 block of Westminster Drive, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. at Wall Street and McDowell Road, police said. He was charged with disobeying two counts of disobeying a stop sign, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested after a K-9 was alerted and a search revealed the drugs, police reports said. His bond was $120. 

Prostitution

Jessica Larue Asbury, 21, of the 1400 block of Southwest 64th Street in Oklahoma City, Okla., was arrested at 9:28 p.m. in the 1500 block of Naperville-Wheaton Road, police said. She was charged with prostitution. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Pandering

Carlo Pierre Woolfolk, 28, of the 5800 block of Sundown Circle in Orlando, Fla., was arrested at 8:44 p.m. at College Road and Green Trails Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and pandering. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Theft

  • Joseph Bantu Hobbs, 29, of the 6400 block of South Ingleside in Chicago, was arrested at 9:05 a.m. in the 1100 block of Shore Road, police said. He was charged with theft. He was taken to the DuPage County Bond Court.
  • John Eddie Greene, 59, of the 8700 block of South Laflin in Chicago, was arrested at 9:05 a.m. in the 1100 block of Shore Road, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Bond Court.

Warrant arrest

  • Maximillian Gryphon Salling, 18, of the 0-99 block of Olympus Drive, was arrested at 4:49 p.m. in the 100 block of West Gartner Road, police said. He was charged on an original warrant for possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams, possession of cannabis, more than 10 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Ellis Tino Smith, 38, of the 3200 block of East 92nd Street in Chicago, was arrested at 1:33 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Ave., police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. His bail was $3,000. 

Driving under the influence

Anthony Mark Huitt, 31, of the 2300 block of Overlook Court, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. in the 600 block of North Route 59, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding over the statutory limit and illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver. His bond was $300.

Suspended license

Tyrell Joseph Coats, 28, of the 200 block of North Loucks Street in Aurora, was arrested at 8:43 p.m. at West Jefferson Avenue and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver, driving on a suspended/revoked license and driving without insurance.  His bail was $2,000.

Unlicensed

Josefina Diaz, 27, of the 400 block of East Park in Aurora, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. at 248th Avenue and Grassmere Road, police said. She was charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance.

Criminal damage

  • Someone entered a building in the 600 block of South Washington Street between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and left nine indentations in drywall and also vomited on carpet, police said.
  • Police said a 67-year-old man in the 1400 block of Georgia Court reported that between Feb. 7 and Wednesday someone destroyed a section of fence.
