Naperville Police Department reports, Aug. 5-7

Friday, Aug. 5

Warrant arrests

  • Payam Matthew Maghsoudi, 19, of the 700 block of Sapphire Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:59 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he was charged on an original warrant for possession of a controlled substance, police said. His bail was $3,000.
  • Israel Morales, 29, of the first block of Petrie Circle, Streamwood, was arrested at 11:22 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he was charged on an original warrant for disorderly conduct, police said. His bond was $350.
  • Shyamala Mahadeva, 39, of the 800 block of Meadowridge Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 9:28 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department where she was charged on an original warrant for endangering the health of a child, police said. Her bond was $300.
  • Clark Ketler Cavish, 45, of the 100 block of West Grand Lake Boulevard, West Chicago, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. in the first block of S245 Warren Avenue, Warrenville, where he was charged with an original warrant for retail theft, police said. His bail was $5,000.
  • Corian Larry Moore, 29, of the 2100 block of Edinburgh Lane, Aurora, was arrested at the Naperville Police Department on a failure to appear warrant, police said. His bail was $2,000. He turned himself in at the police station.

Prostitution

Jennifer Rebecca Gerz, 30, of the 1200 block of West Central Road, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue where she was charged with prostitution, police said. Her bail was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

John Essie Johnson, 21, of the 100 block of Gregory Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue and South Main Street where he was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, littering on the roadway from a vehicle, failure to yield to a pedestrian and illegal possession and transportation of liquor by a driver, police said. His bond was $100. He was seen throwing trash out a passenger window while traveling west on Jefferson Avenue and subsequently arrested for DUI.

Suspended license

  • Marchella Dionne Le, 37, of the 800 block of North Loomis Street, was arrested at 10:55 p.m. in the 2900 block of Audrey Avenue, where she was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, improper use of a registration or title, failure to notify the Secretary of State of an address change and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said. Her bail was $2,000.
  • Neal Saktrakul, 20, of the 6000 block of East Eddy Street, Chicago, was arrested at 8:58 p.m. at Freedom Drive and East Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Battery

Mindaugas Mackonis, 33, of the 2700 block of Bristol Drive, Lisle, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. in the 200 block of East Bailey Road where he was charged with battery and disorderly conduct, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Manifestation of cannabis

  • Robert Andrew Harrington, 23, of the 100 Briar Lane, Morris, was arrested at 9:33 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Route 59 where he was charged with manifestation/delivery of cannabis between 2.5 grams and 10 grams, police said. His bail was $1,500.
  • Brandon Charles Borschell, 20, of the 2300 block of Blue Spruce Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 1620 N. Route 59 where he was charged with manifestation/delivery of cannabis more than 500 grams, resisting a peace officer and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Theft from vehicle

A 56-year-old man in the 600 block of South Wright Street reported that between July 31 and Aug. 5 a digital camera was stolen out of his vehicle, police said.

Property damage

Someone reported that a rock was thrown through a window in the 1300 block of Olympus Drive between 5 p.m. Aug. 4 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5, police said. The rock broke out the first pane of glass, but not the second.

Theft

  • A 43-year-old woman in the 1600 block of Brookdale Road reported that between 1 and 3:30 p.m. a purple girl’s Schwinn 10-Speed bike was stolen, police said.
  • A 36-year-old woman reported in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive that between 4:30 and 8:40 p.m. someone stole a BMX style bike from the balcony.
Saturday, Aug. 6

Warrant arrest

  • Rolando Arriola, 18, of the 700 block of Spring Street, Aurora, was arrested at 4:55 a.m. in the 1200 block of East Indian Trail, Aurora, where he was charged with an original warrant for burglary, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Ryan Michael Kennedy, 18, of the 1200 block of Conan Doyle Road, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. at Chokeberry Drive and Hassert Boulevard where he was charged on an original warrant for aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, police said.  No bond information was provided.
  • William Vincent Kennedy, 49, of the 1200 block of Conan Doyle Road, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. at Chokeberry Drive and Hassert Boulevard where he was charged on an original warrant for aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, police said. His bail was $2,500.

Fighting

  • Joshua Lee Crosby, 24, of the 500 block of Narvick Avenue, Morris, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. in the first block of West Chicago Avenue, where he was charged with fighting, police said. His bond was $120.
  • Ryan Patrick O’Heron, 22, of the 200 block of Thornbury Court, Oswego, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. in the first block of West Chicago Avenue where he was charged with fighting, police said. His bond was $120.
  • William Edward Martin, 24, of the 500 block of Park Manor, Elmhurst, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. in the first block of East Chicago Avenue where he was charged with fighting, police said. His bond was $120.

Suspended license

  • Cedric Devon Gee, 35, of the 100 block of Riley, Lockport, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. in the 900 block of South Route 59 and Ogden Avenue where he was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and having no rear license plate, police said. His bail was $1,500.
  • Austin Ricardo Mason-Jones, 21, of the 1600 block of North Lockwood, Chicago, was arrested at 2:41 a.m. at North Washington Street and East 8th Avenue, where he was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without lights, driving on a suspended/revoked license and on an outstanding warrant, police said. His bail was $3,000.
  • Mario A.J. Wifgall, 34, of the 1100 block of East 73rd Street, Chicago, was arrested at 8:39 a.m. in the 1800 block of La Salle Avenue and North Route 59, where he was charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.
  • Karla Lynn Koerber, 25, of the 2000 block of Illinois Avenue 331, Aurora, was arrested at 4:04 p.m. in the first block of North Route 59 and westbound Interstate 88 where she was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said. Her bail was $2,000.

Driving under the influence

Todd Michael Hinze, 29, of the 1300 block of West Jefferson Avenue, was arrested at 3:17 a.m. in the first block of South Parkway Drive, where he was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, failure to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions, police said. His bail was $3,000.

Theft from vehicle

  • A 24-year-old woman in the 2100 block of 95th Street reported that between 9:10 and 10:10 a.m. that an unknown person smashed the passenger window and removed her purse from a locked car parked in a parking lot, police said.
  • A 26-year-old man in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive reported that between 5 p.m. Aug. 5 and 2:02 p.m. Aug. 6 that a front passenger window was smashed on a red 2003 Volkswagen Jetta and a stereo was removed from the vehicle.

Property damage

Someone reported at 12:29 p.m. in the 1600 block of Pebblewood Lane that a large glass pane was broken but it was unknown when or how.

Sunday, Aug. 7

False identification

  • Allison Elizabeth Grubisic, 19, 409 Bayberry Lane, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. in the 200 block of South Washington Street was charged with possession of a false ID card and consumption of liquor by a minor, police said. Her bond was $120.
  • Terry DeLane Washington, 44, of the 100 block of Aurora Avenue, was arrested at 3:11 a.m. at home where he was charged with illegal operation of a sound amplifier, obstructing identification and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

  • Robert W. Hudson, 24, of the 600 block of Eagle Brook Lane, was arrested at 3:04 a.m. at Ring Road and Knoch Knolls Road where he was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use, police said.
  • Michael D. Walden, 58, of the 16000 block of Howard, Plainfield, was arrested at 3:04 a.m. at W. Chicago Avenue and South Washington Street where he was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, illegal possession and transportation of liquor by a driver and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said. His bail was $3,000.
  • Audra Marie Ohlson, 39 of the 6500 block of Fernwood Drive, Lisle, was arrested at 3:18 a.m. at West 75th Street and Modaff Road where she was charged with two driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to yield at an intersections, unsafe backing on a roadway, operating and uninsured vehicle and improper lane use, police said.
  • Cecilia Anne Blakesley, 22, of the 900 block of Waverly Court, Aurora, was arrested at 3:27 a.m. at Aurora and West Ogden avenues, where she was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use, police said. Her bail was $3,000.

Endangering the health of a child

Martell Darrius Garcia, 21, of the 400 block of Grant Place, Aurora, was arrested at 17:28 p.m. in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, where he was charged with two counts of endangering the health/life of a child, police said. He left two children unsupervised in an unlocked hotel room where they had access to open liquor. His bail was $1,500.

Battery

Michelle Dawn Lyons, 33, of the 1100 block of Royal St. George Drive, was arrested at 18:08 p.m. at home where she was charged with battery, resisting a peace officer and interfering with domestic reporting, police said. Her bail was $1,500.

Public urination

A man was cited for public urination in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue at 1:56 a.m., police said.

Theft from a vehicle

  • A 36-year-old woman in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road reported that between 12:33 and 12:45 p.m. her purple purse and its contents were stolen from a vehicle, police said.
  • A 25-year-old woman in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road reported at 1:28 p.m. that her brown Coach purse with white handles measuring 8” x 15” was stolen from a vehicle, police said.
  • A 30-year-old woman in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road reported at 1:27 p.m. that someone smashed a passenger window of her Mitsubishi Outlander and stole her purse and its contents, police said.
