Police Blotter: Possession, Spray-Painted Face and a Burglarized Tractor

Thursday, Sept. 29
Possession
- Andre Roy Devera, 24, of the 1800 block of Gigi Lane, Darien, was arrested at 12:09 a.m. in the 0 block of West Chicago Avenue on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, police said. He was taken the DuPage County Jail.
Suspended license
Josuan Ricardo Disla, 20, of the 600 block of Meadows Boulevard, Addison, was arrested at 9:23 p.m. at Liberty Street and South Route 59, Aurora, on charges of driving without a rear license plate light, driving on a suspended/revoked license plate and operating a vehicle without insurance, police said. His bail was $2,000.
Retail theft
Oleh Havrylyshshyn, 38, of the 2700 block of Marmora Street, Chicago, was arrested at 8:12 p.m. in the 40 block of West Van Buren Avenue on a charge of retail theft, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Obstructing justice
Samuel Contreras, 24, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 9:06 p.m. at his home on charges of obstructing justice, driving on a suspended/revoked license and texting, police said. He was stopped for texting while driving and then arrested on the other charges, police said. His bail was $1,500.
Warrant
- Cody Lee Lacy, 18, of the 100 block of Waxwing Avenue, was arrested at the on an original warrant for criminal sexual abuse of a victim age 9 to 16, police said. His bail was $5,000.
- Timothy A. Curley, 42, of the 500 block of Milton Drive, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department on an original warrant for battery, police said. His bail was $5,000.
Vehicle burglary
- Someone in the 2200 block of West Diehl Road reported leaving a tractor parked for 15 hours, and while it was left, someone broke out a window and stole personal items, police said.
- A 42-year-old man in the 4200 block of Colton Circle reported that between 8 p.m. Sept. 22 and 7 a.m. Sept. 23, his vehicle was entered and an iPod and iPhone were stolen, police said.
Graffiti
- A resident reported that a spray-painted face was found on the lower lever of the parking garage wall in the 0 block of West Van Buren Avenue, police said.
- Someone reported that a small white dragon and a person were spray painted in white paint on a city-owned control box at School and North Ellsworth streets, police said.
