Police Blotter: Possession of Cannabis, Underage Drinking, Home Egged
Naperville Police Department reports, June 26
Possession of cannabis
- Michael Joseph Boyd, 38, of the 400 block of North Hamilton in Villa Park, was arrested at 9:17 p.m. in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, said. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
- Joshua David Bohannon, 22, of the 700 block of West Liberty Drive in Wheaton, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. near South Brainard Street and Highland Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.
No driver's license
- Fred Benavides, 46, of the 1400 block of Superior Street in Aurora, was arrested at 11:59 p.m. near North Aurora Road and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with obstructing identification, expired registration, no driver’s license and operating a vehicle without insurance. His bail was $2,000.
- Irlen Nevarez, 25, of the 300 block of Pine Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. near North River Road and Chalet Road, police said. She was charged with no driver’s license and speeding. Her bail was $1,500.
Suspended/revoked license
Claudio G. Garcia, 33, of the 900 block of Gael Drive in Joliet, was arrested at 6:02 a.m. in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road, police said. He was charged with driving on suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
Possession of a controlled substance
Michael David Abrams, 53, of the 1000 block of North Brainard Street, was arrested at 9:24 p.m. in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, manufacture/intent to deliver cannabis 30-500 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
BB gun found
A BB gun was found in the roadway near Book Road and 95th Street, police said.

Home egged
Someone’s home was egged overnight on June 25 in the 3600 block of Schillinger Court, police said.
New helmet stolen
A bike helmet delivered by UPS was stolen from the outside of a home in the 500 block of North Loomis Street, police said.

Stolen strollers
Two baby strollers were stolen in the 1800 block of Santa Fe Drive, police said.
Windows smashed
Over the weekend someone used broke two windows of a business causing approximately $50 in damage in 400 block of Spring Avenue, police said.
Underage drinking
A fight was reported in the 3200 block of South Route 59 and after a fleeing vehicle was stopped underage consumption tickets were given to two 18 year olds, police said.
