Naperville Police Department reports, June 15 - 17

Friday, June 15

Possession of marijuana

Timothy Frederick Dowd, 22, of the 2500 block of River Woods Drive, was arrested at 1:50 a.m. near East 75th Street and Ranchview Drive, the  said. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage and driving under the influence of drugs. His bond was $300.

No driver's license 

Jessica Nicole Holmes, 22, of the 300 block of Warwick Drive, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. near West Ogden Avenue and West Jefferson Avenue, police said. She was charged with no driver’s license. Her bond was $150.

Criminal trespass

  • Russell Tucker Nye, 18, of the 100 block of North Sleight Street, was arrested at 3:28 a.m. in the 0-99 block of North Loomis Street, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land. His bond was $120.
  • Michael Augustine Devane, 19, of the 100 block of West Bauer Road, was arrested at 3:38 a.m. in the 0-99 block of North Loomis Street, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land. His bond was $120.
  • Matthew Edward, 18, of the 1800 block of Beloit Court, was arrested at 3:28 a.m. in the 0-99 block of North Loomis Street, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land. His bond was $120.

Theft

  • Brian Thomas Butler, 24, of the 5500 block of Lakeside Drive in Lisle, was arrested at 10:39 a.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with theft. His bail was $20,000.
  • Elton Turnage-Manuel, 18, of the 1100 block of Brunswick Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 6:55 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.
  • Malcom Xavier McSwain, 18, of the 3300 block of Lynnfield Court in Aurora, was arrested at 6:55 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest 

Michael David Conway, 49, of the 17300 block of Ivy Lane in Chillicothe, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. near Audrey Avenue and South Route 59, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $3,000.

Driving under the influence

Jofred Garay-Nunez, 28, of the 1800 block of Gunderson Avenue in Berwyn, was arrested at 12:37 a.m. near West Diehl Road and Country Club Boulevard, police said. He was charged with improper parking/stopping/standing in a roadway, operating a vehicle without insurance and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $1,000.

Mailbox mischief

A gray wooden mailbox post was ripped from the ground overnight in the 1400 block of Westglen Drive, police said.

Property theft

A total of eight wheels and tires were removed from four different 2012 Toyotas overnight in the 1400 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. Estimated loss is $6,300. 

Property damage

Someone put a hole in a screen door in the 1600 block of Westminster Drive, police said. 

Saturday, June 16

Suspended/revoked license

James Jospeh Darlinger, 20, of the 300 block of Mulhern in Yorkville, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. near 83rd Street and Aero Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on suspended/revoked license and no muffler. His bond was $1,500.

Battery

Thomas John Marcotte, 35, of the 0-99 block of Falcons Trail in St. Charles, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. near North Route 59 and Westings Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of battery, theft of labor/services and two counts of aggravated assault. His bond was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

Anthony James Robert Paihr, 24, of the 1000 block of Fairway Drive, was arrested at 3:41 a.m. near Raymond Drive and West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, improper turn at an intersection and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Burglary

Deverette Deveon Jefferson, 25, of the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue, was arrested at 3:13 a.m. in the 100 block of West Van Buren Avenue, police said. He was charged with burglary and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Fugitive from justice

Donald G. Siuchninski, 54, of the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Possession of marijuana

Aaron William Richardson, 18, of the 3500 block of Sweet Maggie Lane, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. near South Route 59 and West 87th Street, police said. He was charged with illegal possession/transportation of liquor, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane change and possession of marijuana. His bond was $1,500.

Criminal trespass

  • Nahoku Nguyen, 41 of the 8S100 block of Washington Street in Darien, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to a building and harassment by telephone. His bond was $120.
  • Nicholas John Sass, 21, of the 700 block of Springbrook Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:37 a.m. in the 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct breach of peace and criminal trespass to land. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest 

Gerod Lee McClanahan, 38, of the 6000 block of Forest View Road in Lisle, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. in the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.

Theft

  • Someone stole a spare tire overnight in the 900 block of Douglas Avenue, police said.
  • Someone stole a firepit from a driveway in the 1100 block of Hannah court, police said.
  • A vehicle was burglarized in the 1800 block of Centre Point Circle and two Husky totes were taken that contained First Aid kits and paperwork, police said. 
Sunday, June 17

Driving under the influence

  • Moises, Marquez-Rascon, 21, of the 2500 block of Watrebury Drive in Woodridge, was arrested at 2:56 a.m. near North Washington Street and West Fifth Avenue, police said. He was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, speeding, no driver’s license, illegal lane usage, operating a vehicle without insurance and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Tina Lee Marshall, 43, of the 1600 block of Maroon Bells Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. near Brookdale Road and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with failure to give a signal and driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000.

Disorderly conduct 

  • Chase Matthew Kovel, 26, of the 800 block of Diamondhead Court in Shorewood, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct breach of peace. His bond was $120.
  • Brian Richard O’Hara, 29, of the 300 block of Evergreen in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct breach of peace and fighting. His bond was $120.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Robert Dean Ratledge, 44, of the 3400 block of Parliament Lane, was arrested at 8:12 p.m. near Rickert Drive and Sanctuary Lane, police said. He was charged with expired registration, operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on a suspeneded/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.
  • Marcos Valencia, 23, of the 600 block of East Galena Boulevard in Aurora, was arrested at 10:58 p.m. near Showplace Drive and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with not wearing a seat belt, no insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was $3,000.

Criminal trespass

Jon William Riley, 29, of the 100 block of Barb Boulevard in DeKalb, was arrested at 3:38 a.m. in the 2100 block of Citygate Lane, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to lane and Illinois vehicle code felonies.

Warrant arrest 

  • Arthur Raul Garcia, 19, of the 200 block of Shady Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 9:21 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with two failure-to-appear warrants. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Matthew Alan Young, of the 300 block of North Weber Road in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:51 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Olympus Drive, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license, two counts of deceptive practice, two counts of obstructing identification, fugitive from justice and four failure-to-appear warrants. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Fighting 

Clifford Charles Schaffer, 27, of the 11500 block of Glenn Circle in Plainfield, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with fighting. His bond was $120.

Property theft

An unlocked vehicle was entered in the 600 block of Wellner Road and someone took $4 in change and a flashlight, police said.
