Police Blotter: Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving Under the Influence
Naperville Police Department reports, Nov. 2
Warrant arrest
Sherman Anthony McBride, 23, of the 8100 block of South Evans, Chicago, was arrested at 9:28 p.m. at 2600 South California, Chicago, police said. He was charged on an original warrant for forgery and taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Driving under the influence
- Joseph Augustine Cecala, 33, of the first block of Marine View Plaza, Hoboken, NJ, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. in the 3300 block of South Route 59 and LaCrosse Lane, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 30-plus miles per hour over the limit and failing to signal. His bail was $3,000.
- Randall M. Stall, 63, of the 600 block of Vicksburg Court, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. at South Washington Street and Martin Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and a traffic control violation. His bail was $3,000.
Possession
Dylan Thomas O’Connell, 18, of the 1500 block of Aztec Circle, was arrested at 11:03 a.m. in the 600 block of East Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and manifesting/delivering controlled substances. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to police reports, two men in a vehicle were observed shooting heroin while driving through Naperville.
Suspended license
- Elia Delcarmen Ayala, 38, of the 2100 block of North Parkside, Chicago, was arrested at 3:37 p.m. at Route 59 and Butterfield Road, Warrenville, said. She was charged with driving without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $2,000.
- Malcolm Keijir Wheeler, 19 of the 13000 block of Edewater Court, Romeoville, was arrested at 4:06 p.m. in the 2800 block of Cedar Glade Drive, police said. He was charged with driving with a defective windshield and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.
Theft
A 46-year-old woman reported someone stole two red 32-gallon garbage cans Oct. 19 from the curb of her home in the 2300 block of Putnam Drive, police said.
