Friday, July 27

Warrant arrest

John Jospeh Miotke, 35, of the 300 block of Oak Grove Drive in Wauconda, was arrested at 9:52 p.m. near South Washington Street and East Jefferson Avenue, said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $1,500.

A vehicle lost control on wet pavement causing it to run off the road and hit a fence near Aurora Avenue and South West Street, police said. 

Graffiti

A red spray painted "W" was found on the side of building in the 900 block of School Street, police said.

Seared slide

Police said they received a report of fire damage to a playground slide in the 3700 block of Lawrence Drive.

Stolen bike

A bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 1300 block of Crestwood Court, police said.

Watch taken

A watch was taken from a unlocked locker in a men's room in the 2700 block of Fitness Drive, police said.

Stolen wallet

A wallet was taken from a baby stroller at Walgreens in the 3000 block of Book Road, police said.

Return of the soft top slasher

Someone cut a previously damaged window of a rear soft top convertible and sliced the roof on the driver's side door in the 2500 block of Bordeaux Lane, police said. 

Garage door opener stolen

An unlocked vehicle was entered and a garage door opener was taken in the 3300 block of Rosecroft Lane, police said. 

Saturday, July 28

No driver's license

Elton Kenroy Cummings, 35, of the 100 block of Raleigh Court in Wood Dale, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. near West Diehl Road and Frontenac Road, police said. He was charged with no driver's license. His bail was $1,500. 

Aggravated driving under the influence

Andrew Edward Piry, 22, of the 3700 block of Harms Road in Joliet, was arrested at 2:12 a.m. near Ring Road and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol/suspended/revoked license, driving on a suspended/revoked license, following too close and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to Will County Jail. Piry had a suspended/revoked license for a prior DUI charge, police said. 

Retail theft

Antoine Marsel Foster, 19, of the 1300 block of South Glen Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 2:52 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bail was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

Andrew William Green, 23, of the 400 block of South Prairie Street in Aurora, was arrested at 1:37 a.m. near Seventh Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage and speeding. His bail was $3,000. 

Interfering with an officer

Grant Michael Williams, 23, of the 500 block of North River Street in Batavia, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. near Seventh Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with interfering with an officer. His bond was $120. 

Suspended/revoked license

Alvaro Javier Hoyos, 25, of the 500 block of Cottonwood Circle in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:36 a.m. near South Washington Street and East Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license and speeding. His bail was $2,000. 

Pine tree pyro

Seven large pine trees were set on fire by someone using fireworks in the 3400 block of Club Drive, police said. 

Stroller shoplifter

A male hid a dress inside of a stroller and exited a store while his wife shopped in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. 

Sunday, July 29

Driving under the influence

  • Jose Luis Salgado, 29, of the 100 block of Aquilla Street in Algonquin, was arrested at 3:18 a.m. in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, illegal possession/transportation of liquor and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000. 
  • Brian Scott Gaza, 52, of the 300 block of Big Rail Drive, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000. 

Underage drinking

Omar Syed Majid, 19, of the 1200 block of Balmoral Court in Brookfield, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with consumption of liquor by a minor and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $120. 

Speeding 31-40 MPH over the limit

Jeffrey Scott Mills, 29, of the 2800 block of Cantore Road, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. near Berry Drive and Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged with speeding between 31 to 40 MPH over the limit. His bond was $160. 

Warrant arrest

Tara Lynn Tyson, 31, of the 3900 block of Vesper Court, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. near West Benton Avenue and North Main Street, police said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bail was $5,000. 

Retail theft

Fabian Marcel Orellana, 48, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 3:11 p.m. in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120. 

Party foul

Extremely loud music was playing during a party in the 1300 block of Modaff Road and the resident was issued a citation, police said. 

Burglary

A car was burglarized in the 2700 block of Deering Bay Drive, police said.
