Police Blotter: Out of Towners' Visits End with Arrests

Soliciting

The arrested 14 people on Tuesday night for soliciting without a permit. All of the people were arrested at 9:46 p.m. at the intersections of New Castle and Concord roads and East Chicago Avenue and Cornwall Road, according to police reports. Most of those arrested were from out of state. Those arrested included:

• Jerald Patrick Blowe, 30, of the 1100 block of Santee Avenue, Akron, Ohio. His bond was $120.
• Rashea Antinique Lewis, 23, of the 900 block of North Patrick Street, Alexandria Va. Her bond was $120.
• Allan Shandell Brown, 41, of the 600 block of Greenbay Avenue, Calumet City, Ill. His bond was $120.
• Jerry Earl McCory, 28, of the 9700 block of Parkgate Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. His bond was $120.
• Augusta Cornellous Stribling, 33, of the 1700 block of Old Leland Road, Greenville, Miss. Her bond was $120.
• Vikctor Kentrell Blueford, 22, of the 6400 block of Mohawk Street, Houston, Texas. His bond was $120.
• Sophia Lee Hall, 30, of the 16000 block of Rockford School Road, Hurt, Va. Her bond was $120.
• Erskine Gerome Goodloe, 31, of the 200 block of East Biddle Street, Jackson, state unknown. His bond was $120.
• Shajuana Mae Mays, 23, of the 3400 Kensignton, Kansas City, Mo. Her bond was $120.
• Jerahmia Immanuel Laster, 24, of the 4100 block of Glaskow Drive, Sacramento, state unknown. His bond was $120.
• Marquis Damie Simmons, 29, of the 500 block of West Judson, Youngstown, Ohio. His bond was $120.
• Cherrelle Latrice Hardy, 24, of the 100 block of East Avondale Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio. Her bond was $120.
• Brian lee Johnson, 38, of the 500 block of West Judson Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, who also was charged on a warrant, police said. His bond was $120.
• Cecilia Marie Woods, 46, of the 1000 block of Nash Avenue, Ypsilanti, Ohio. Her bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

• Daniel Scott Shafer, 23, of the 500 block of East Benton Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 3:32 p.m. at 1350 Aurora Avenue, on a warrant for two counts of retail theft, police said. His bail was $3,000.
• Seong M. Kim, 46, of the 3400 block of Interlochen Lane, was arrested in the 1600 block of West Diehl Road and North Route 59, on a warrant from Will County, police said. His bond was $300.

Robbery

• Claude Lee Shaw, 19, of the 8300 block of South Kingston Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. in the 500 block of Fessler Avenue on charges of robbery and burglary. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
• Mack Charles Lumpkins, 19, of the 8300 block of South Kingston Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 1:56 a.m. in the 500 block of Fessler Avenue on charges of robbery and burglary, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
• Victor Darrel Pulphus, 19, of the 2500 block of Eldorado Lane, was arrested at 1:56 a.m. in the 500 block of Fessler Avenue, on charges of robbery and burglary, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Youth Home.
• Christopher Charles Partin, 24, of the 500 block of Fessler Avenue, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. at his home on charges of burglary and robbery, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Youth Home.
• Andrew Lee Mathis, 30, of the 1300 block of Modaff Road, was arrested in the 900 block of East Chicago Avenue on a warrant and on charges of burglary and robbery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Possession

• Quishana Shaniece Hines, 25, of the 1200 block of South Spaulding, Chicago, was arrested at 5:58 p.m. in the 3100 block of 111th Street on charges of retail theft and possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams, police said. Her bail was $1,500.
• Nenad Stefanovic, 34, of the 1500 block of Chateau De Ville Court, Clearwater, Fla., was arrested at 2:50 p.m. at South Naper Boulevard and East 75th Street on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and possession of a narcotic instrument. His bail was $3,000.

Criminal damage

Cody John Mueller, 19, of the 2100 block of University Drive, was arrested at 9:56 a.m. in the 2100 block of University Drive on charges of knowingly damaging property and criminal trespass to a building, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Theft

A 36-year-old man in the 3100 block of 111th Street reported Tuesday that his wallet was stolen from a shopping cart on Sept. 4, police said.
