Warrant arrest

Rebecca E. Cooper, 20, of the 700 block of Inland Circle in , was arrested around 12:15 p.m. at her home on a failure-to-appear warrant out of DuPage County. Her bail was set at $5,000, police said.

Leaving scene of an accident

Police said they arrested Eric T. Maschmeier, 20, of the 800 block of South Julian Street in , around 4 a.m. near the intersection of West 75th Street and Beebe Drive and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed. His bail was set at $1,500.

Burglary

Harold Guzman, 50, of the 2300 block of South Clinton Avenue in Berwyn, was arrested around midnight at the Oak Park Police Department, 123 Madison St., Oak Park, on an original warrant out of DuPage County for theft and burglary, police said.

Obstructing justice

Synovia L. Spain, 20, of the 1100 block of Birchdale Lane in Aurora, was arrested around 4 a.m. near the intersection of West 75th Street and Beebe Drive and charged with obstructing justice and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Her bail was set at $1,500, police said.

Wallet taken from shopping cart

A 56-year-old woman reported that her wallet was missing while she was shopping at a grocery store in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue in . She said she believed that someone stole the wallet from her cart around 12:30 p.m.
