Police Blotter: Missing Jewelry, Stolen Flower Pot and Property Damage

Naperville Police Department reports for Aug. 16.

Tuesday, Aug. 16

Warrant arrest

  • James William Anthony, 25, of the 100 block of S. Main Street, was arrested at 6 a.m. at S. Washington Street and E. 6thAvenue, where he was charged on a failure to appear warrant from DuPage County, according to police. His bail was set at $1,000.
  • Tasha Michele Graves, 39, of the 5600 block of Abbey Drive, Lisle, was arrested at 7:31 p.m. at 801 S. Washington Street where she was charged with theft and on a warrant, police said. Her bail was set at $1,500.
  • Regina Maria Diaz-Ortega, 40, of the 200 block of N. Caloun Street, Aurora, was arrested at 9:19 p.m. in the 500 block of Fort Hill Drive and Aurora Avenue, police said. She was charged on two failure to appear warrants from the Aurora Police Department.
  • Gonzalo Posada, 26, of the 2500 block of Avenida Circle, Carrollton, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he was charged on a failure to appear warrant, police said. His bail was set at $2,000.

Violating an order of protection

Alexander Paul Revelles, 23, of the 1600 block of Frost Lane, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. in the 1100 block of N. Brainard Street, where he was charged with two counts of violating an order of protection, police said. He was taken to the Will County Jail.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Police said Jose Alberto Mendez, 20, of the 1300 block of Burlington Avenue, Lisle, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. at Radcliff Road and E. Ogden Avenue. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, no front license plate and illegal operation of sound amplification. His bail was $1,500.
  • Alan Lee Jensen, 58, of the 600 block of Sundance Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:25 p.m. in the 20 block of E. Chicago Avenue where he was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said.

Driving under the influence

Pedro Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 51, of the 400 block of Sperry Court, Aurora, was arrested at 8:34 p.m. in the 700 block of S. Route 59 where he was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, operating an uninsured vehicle and on a warrant, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Theft

  • A 68-year-old man reported Tuesday that between February and March several pieces of jewelry were stolen from his home while he was in Florida, police said.
  • A 35-year-old woman in the 500 block of Alexandria Drive reported that one of her “big flower pots” was missing from the front of the house, police said.

Criminal defacement

Someone reported at 2:35 p.m. in the 1200 block of Sanctuary Lane that a school building was defaced with red spray paint on the playground, parking lot, a door and window, police said.

Criminal damage to property

  • A 27-year-old woman in the 2900 block of Saganashkee Lane, reported that between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday someone threw a rock at her window tearing the screen and breaking the outer window pane, police said.
  • Police said someone reported in the 1400 block of W. Jefferson Avenue at 7 a.m. a curb replacement was being done, but an area not meant to be replaced was “mysteriously” damaged overnight.
  • A 69-year-old man in the 200 block of N. River Road reported between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 12:05 p.m. Tuesday a rock was thrown at the driver’s door and window of his vehicle, damaging the door.
  • A 49-year-old woman in the 1300 block of Ada Lane reported that between 1 a.m. and 11:39 a.m. two “chemical bombs” were detonated in her yard at about 1 a.m.
