Police Blotter: Man Charged With Driving 103 MPH, Unlawful Use of Weapons

Speeding/Unlawful Use of Weapons

Daryl Florenco Dourado, 25, of the 1500 block of Acorn Court in Lombard, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. near 95th Street and Reflection Drive, police said. He was charged with unlawful use of weapons, operating a vehicle without insurance, speeding 30 MPH or more over the limit and disobeying a traffic control device. His bond was $200. Dourado was stopped for running a red light and traveling 103 MPH in a 45-MPH zone. Under the driver's seat were two cans of pepper spray, metal knuckles and an expandable baton. 

Possession of drug paraphernalia 

  • Kalen Mitchell Petty, 20, of the 1400 block of Carleton Circle, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. in the 100 block of South Main Street, said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $200. 
  • Jonathan Tyler Caron, 20, of the 300 block of Emery Avenue in Romeoville, was arrested at 3:50 a.m. in the 100 block of South Main Street, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

Edward Andrew Spencer, 30, of the 700 block of Superior Court, was arrested at 3:36 a.m. at his home, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.

Suspended/revoked license

Donn E. Perry, 54, of the 200 block of North President Street in Wheaton, was arrested at 1:33 p.m. near South Washington Street and East Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.

Disorderly conduct

Mark Fredrick Downum, 51, of the 1300 block of North Webster Street, was arrested at 9:46 p.m. near West Jefferson Avenue and Encinca Drive, police said. He was charged with driving in the wrong lane and disorderly conduct breach of peace. His bond was $120.

Property theft

  • A driver side tire and rim were removed from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive between 1:15 and 7:30 a.m., police said.
  • Three Kohler shower heads were taken from shower rooms undergoing remodeling in a building in the 1300 block of crystal Avenue, police said.

Dog bite

Someone was bitten by a dog in the 3500 block of Eliot Lane, police said.

Lost wallet 

A wallet was reported lost June 3 in the 1600 block of Fairway Drive, police said.

Vandalism 

Someone took a flower pot from a neighbor's home and dropped it in a driveway in the 2700 block of Pennyroyal Circle, police said.

Stolen backpack 

A backpack was stuffed under a bench at a bus depot in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue for about 30 minutes, police said. When the owner returned, the backpack was missing.
