Police Blotter: Man Speeds 40 MPH Over Limit, DUI, Soliciting Prostitute

Friday, Aug. 24

Driving under the influence

  • John J. Petraitis, 38, of the 2600 block of Dunrobin Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. near Fort Hill Drive and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with speeding, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Jenney Leah Bell, 42, of the 1300 block of Ivy Lane, was arrested at 11:58 p.m. in the 1300 block of Queensgreen Circle, police said. She was charged with failure to give a signal, failure to notify damage to unattended vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000.

Suspended/revoked license 

Illya Demitri Gentle, 20, of the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, was arrested at 11:27 a.m. in the 400 block of North River Road, police said. He was charged with  driving on a suspended/revoked license and improper lane usage. His bail was $1,500.

Battery

Kathleen Elizabeth Kemph, 26, of the 1100 block of East Gartner Road, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. in the 900 block of Watercress Drive, police said. She was charged with battery. Her bail was $1,500.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Ryan Michael Flynn, 26, of the 900 block of Watercress Drive, was arrested at 6:29 p.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.

Soliciting for a prostitute

Juarez Ricardo Monegain, 61, of the 700 block of Mockingbird Lane in Willowbrook, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of Naperville Wheaton Road, police said. He was charged with soliciting for a prostitute and possession of cocaine more than 15 but less than 100 grams. He was transported to DuPage County Bond Court.

Saturday, Aug. 25

Driving under the influence

  • Kattalin Amalia Hontanon, 23, of the 400 block of South State Street in Aurora, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and South Birchwood Drive, police said. She was charged with improper lane usage and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000. 
  • Jon Anthony Navilio, 46, of the 1000 block of North Farnsworth Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. near Shandrew Drive and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with speeding and aggravated driving under the influence. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Police said Carlos Rodriguez, 24, of the 4200 block of Chesapeake in Aurora, was arrested at 1:22 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and River Road. He was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Sasha Crystal Torres, 24, of the 1900 block of Erin Marie Court in Aurora, was arrested at 2:48 a.m. near West Diehl Road and North Washington Street, police said. She was charged with illegal possession/transportation of liquor, interfering with an officer, speeding, failure to give a signal and driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Diana Katherine Kliner, 41, of the 1600 block of Kiowa Drive, was arrested at 9:16 a.m. near South Naper Boulevard and East Bailey Road, police said. She was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of drugs. Her bail was $3,000.

Warrant arrest

Adam Diablo Martin, 19, of the 15500 block of Minerva in Dolton, was arrested at 7:54 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.

Speeding 40 mph over limit

Nicholas Anthony Sciortino, 22, of the 2300 block of Lexington Lane, was arrested at 10:17 p.m. near North Mill Street and West Ogden Avenue. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding 85 mph in a 35-mph zone, police said. His bail was $2,000.

Disorderly conduct

Reginald Baggett, 20, of the 1300 block of Modaff Road, was arrested at 11:02 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land and disorderly conduct. 

Sunday, Aug. 26

Theft of labor/services

Alexander Diego Contreras, 22, of the first block of Sunnyside Place in Batavia, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. in the 900 block of North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with theft of labor/services after refusing to pay cab fare. His bail was $1,500.

Suspended/revoked license

Jennifer Nicole Delatorre, 26, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 9:47 p.m. near Butterfield Road and Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $1,500.

Aggravated battery to peace officer

John William Vonlehe, 48, of the first block of East Benton Avenue, was arrested at 8:52 p.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with resisting a peace officer, criminal trespass to state land and two counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Driving under the influence

Maureen Heather McFarlane, 46, of the 4900 block of Prairie Crossing in Oswego, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. near Fort Hill Drive and West Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000.

Graffiti 

Graffiti was found on a lamp pillar in a parking lot in the 200 block of South Route 59, police said.

Stolen wallet

A wallet was taken from a bathroom in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said.

Backpack taken 

A backpack was stolen from a laundromat in the 400 block of Eat Ogden Avenue, police said.

Fence damaged

An 8-foot section of vinyl fence between two apartment complexes was destroyed in the 1000 block of Neudearborn Lane, police said.

Bike stolen

A charcoal gray Rock Hopper mountain bike with a yellow/blue buggy was stolen from a train depot in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue, police said.

Hot mess

Coffee was thrown on a vehicle overnight in the 600 block of East Bailey Road, police said.
