Police Blotter: Man Speeds 30 MPH Over Limit, Negative Campaigning, DUI, Fighting

Friday, Oct. 12

Driving under the influence

  • Natalie Amanda Cruz, 21, of the 300 block of Aspen Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. near West 75th Street and Beebe Drive, Naperville Police Department said. She was charged with speeding, illegal possession of liquor and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Daniel Antonio Ibarra, 30, of the 300 block of Evans Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. in the 1800 block of La Salle Avenue, police said. He was charge with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed and no driver’s license. His bail was $3,000.
  • Justin Ian Pawlarczyk, 25, of the 11N 100 block of Romeo Drive in Elgin, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. in the 500 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with driving on suspended/revoked license, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and two counts of driving under the influence. His bail was $3,000.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Adrienne Sanchez, 25, of the 700 block of Hemlock Lane in Carol Stream, was arrested at 11:49 p.m. in the 500 block of South Washington Street, police said. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was $120.

Saturday, Oct. 13

Driving under the influence

Richard Jonathan Lucier, 21 of the 100 block of Cypress Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:18 a.m. near West 87th Street and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Warrant arrest

Horace Xavier McClain, 22, of the 300 block of Magnolia Drive in North Aurora, was arrested at 2:33 a.m. in the 1800 block of West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged on two failure-to-appear warrants. He was transported to Will County Jail.

Disorderly conduct

Dean Scott, 24, of the 6900 block of Monmouth in Joliet, was arrested at 1:34 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer. His bond was $120.

Retail theft 

Kelli Jo Campbell, 43, of the 1900 block of Stanford Drive, was arrested at 8:39 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said. She was charged with two counts of retail theft and resisting a peace officer. She was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Suspended/revoked license

Brittany Alexandria Myles, 22, of the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue, was arrested at 8:08 p.m. in the 400 block of Main Street, police said. She was charged with muffler defects and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $1,500.

Speeding 30 MPH over the limit

Michael Harrison Walker, 22, of the 2600 block of Stoneybrook Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. near Raymond Drive and McDowell Road, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, traffic control violation and speeding 30 MPH over the limit. His bail was $2,000.

Unlawful use of weapons

Michael Sean McCarty, 23, of the 1500 block of Marquette Road in Joliet, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. near South Washington Street and Jackson Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery, knowingly damaging property, battery, domestic battery, criminal trespass to a building, resisting a peace officer and unlawful use of weapons. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Sunday, Oct. 14

Driving under the influence

Miguel Angel Duran, 25, of the 200 block of North Neltnor in West Chicago, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. near East Benton Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with illegal possession of liquor, crossing double yellow lines, traffic control violation and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.

Fighting

Ryan Michael Kennedy, 19, of the 1000 block of Preserve Avenue, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with fighting, interfering with an officer and consumption of liquor. His bond was $120.

Stolen tools

Four young people were seen around a vehicle after the trunk was left open in the 400 block of Kiowa Drive, police said. Tools were missing from trunk. 

Lost wallet

A wallet was dropped after getting in the car in the 500 block of Fort Hill, police said.

Found wallet

A wallet was found and returned to the police department in the 500 block of River Road, police said.

Stolen wallet

A wallet was stolen from a purse in a shopping cart in the 3100 block of 111thStreet, police said.

License plate stolen

A front license plate went missing in the 0-99 block of Huntington Circle, police said.

Negative campaigning  

Two Barack Obama campaign signs were removed from a yard in the 300 block of Elmwood Drive, police said. 

Attempted theft

A white male pushed a cart of groceries out of the door without paying and then fled from security in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said.

Pumpkin chuckin' 

A mailbox was smashed with a pumpkin in the 2100 block of Skylane Drive, police said. 

Broken door

The glass of the north common door entrance was damaged in the 1300 block of Crab Apple Court, police said.

Scented trail

Two people were caught smoking a bong after speeding up and down the street in the 1300 block of Ada Lane, police said.

Hardware hesitation

Someone was found interchanging tags on wrenches and removing screws from boxes and placing the wrenches and screws in their pocked in the 700 block of Fort Hill, police said. They passed by the register without paying for the wrench. But when they approached the entrance, they saw security approaching and immediately went back in to the store and wandered aimlessly for a considerable period before being stopped by security and finally left the store.

Dine and dash

Someone walked out without paying for a food bill along with taking the food in the 1800 block of South Washington Street, police said.
