Police Blotter: Man Files False Report, Hijacked Huggies, Stolen Purse

Naperville Police Department reports, June 19

Tuesday, June 19

False report

Andrew Clay Armstrong, 48, of the 700 block of West Liberty Street in Wheaton, was arrested at 9:32 p.m. in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue, said. He was charged with filing a false report to 911. He was transported to DuPage County Bond Court.

Possession of cannabis 

  • Sujad Himal Panchal, 18, of the 30 W 0-99 block of Capistrano Court, was arrested at 2:28 p.m. near Fort Hill Drive and Audrey Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.
  • David Keith Patterson, 20, of the 200 block of North Whispering Hills Road, was arrested at 11:51 p.m. near North River Road and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.

Manufacture/deliver schedule II drug 

James Anthony Tittelbach, 29, of the 800 block of Springhill Circle, was arrested at 6:10 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with manufacturing with intent to deliver a schedule II drug. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Warrant arrest

Matthew John Carlson, 44, of the 1100 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 7:43 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.

No driver's license

Gilberto Barrientos-Flores, 37, of the 700 block of George Avenue, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license. His bond was $1,500.

Stolen purse 

A purse was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 1500 block of Ambleside Circle, police said.

Stolen computer

An HP laptop and a black nylon computer bag were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Thornapple Drive, police said.

No, those aren't headphones

A stethoscope was stolen out of a vehicle in the 1500 block of Watkins Lane, police said.

Hijacked Huggies

A diaper bag and wallet were stolen out of a vehicle in the 1100 block of Vail court, police said.

Stolen phone 

An iPhone was stolen out of a vehicle in the 1200 block of South Whispering Hills Drive, police said.

Property damage

A storm window was damaged at approximately 5:50 p.m. in the 1200 block of Windemere Avenue, police said.
