Police Blotter: Loosened Lug Nuts and Missing Catalytic Converters

Naperville police reports, Oct. 18-20.

Wednesday, Oct. 20

Warrant Arrest

Christina M. Morehead, 29, of the 12900 block of Derby Road in Lemont, was arrested around 10:15 p.m. near the intersection of North Naper Boulevard and West Interstate 88 on a failure-to-appear warrant.

Sara L. Cuatzo-Cielo, 29, of the 100 block of East Eleventh Avenue in Naperville, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. at her home on a failure-to-appear warrant out of DuPage County. Her bail was set at $300.

Sean J. Pelkey, 39, of the 1300 block of McDowell Road in Naperville, was arrested around 11:30 a.m. at his home on a failure-to-appear contempt of court warrant out of DuPage County. His bail was set at $2,228.89.

Autress D. Lowe, 33, of the 1500 block of Raymond Drive in Naperville, was arrested around 11:30 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Ave., on a failure-to-appear warrant. Police said Lowe turned himself in. His bail was set at $500.

Jose A. Marcos-Mendez, 30, of the 6700 block of Park Lane in Westmont, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Modaff Road on two warrants. He was also charged with driving without a valid driver's license and driving a vehicle with an expired registration.

Loosened Lug Nuts

A 39-year-old woman, of the 700 block of South Route 59 in Naperville, reported around 5:25 p.m. that someone had loosened the lug nuts on the front passenger-side tire of her car. She said to police that when she began to back up from her parking spot, the tire fell off the vehicle.

Burglary To a Motor Vehicle

A 24-year-old woman living in the 700 block of Genesee Drive in Naperville, reported that a GPS was missing from her vehicle. She said she believed the device was stolen between 7 p.m. Oct. 19 and 6:45 a.m. Oct. 20, when her car was parked in the driveway of her residence.

A 23-year-old woman living in the 2300 block of Overlook Court in Naperville, reported that $150 was missing from the center console of her vehicle. She said she believed the money was stolen around 8:40 p.m.

A 40-year-old woman living in the 3000 block of Crystal Rock Road in Naperville, reported that 20 CDs and an am/fm radio CD player were missing from her vehicle. She left her car unlocked and said she believed the items were stolen between 2 p.m. Oct. 19 and 9 a.m. Oct. 20.

Tuesday, Oct. 19

Missing Catalytic Converter

A 35-year-old man, who was parked in the 400 block of Fairway Drive in Naperville, reported that the catalytic convertor was missing from his 1997 Toyota. He said he believed the part was stolen Oct. 19 while he was parked in the parking lot of the Route 59 train station between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

A 44-year-old man, who was parked in the 400 block of Fairway Drive in Naperville, reported that the catalytic convertor was missing from his vehicle. He said he believed the part was stolen Oct. 19 between 5:50 a.m. and 5:20 p.m.

Missing Bicycle

A 13-year-old boy reported that his bicycle was missing from where he set it outside the Walgreens located at 612 Raymond Road in Naperville. He said he believed the bike was stolen around 8:30 pm.

Monday, Oct. 18

Theft

A 26-year-old man reported that his backpack was missing from a bench near the Riverwalk at 500 W. Jackson Ave. He left the bag near dandelion fountain and said he believed it was stolen between noon and 12:30 p.m. An iPod Nano, medications and books were inside the bag.
