Police Blotter: Kids Seen Trespassing; Suspicious Activity

Warrant Arrest

Jurline Price, 57, of the 2800 block of Kilburne Lane in , was arrested around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of 95th Street and Skylane Drive, on a warrant, police said. Her bail was set at $50,000.

Police said they arrested Melissa Kathleen Matranga, 23, of the 4700 block of St. Joseph Creek in Lisle, around 2 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Ogden Avenue on a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bail was set at $5,000.

Theft of Labor

Reggional J. Williams, 19, of the 2500 block of Durango Lane in Naperville, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bond Street on an original warrant. Police said he was charged with theft of labor/services and criminal trespassing.

Missing Ladder

A 43-year-old man, of the 900 block of Bainbridge Drive in Naperville, reported that a ladder was missing from his home. He said he believed the ladder was stolen between 11 p.m. Feb. 7 and 6 a.m. Feb. 8, according to the report.

Suspicious Activity

Police said that at the Metra Station in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue in Naperville, a Metra agent was approached by a woman around 7 p.m who was "asking very unusual questions, not pertaining to anything Metra related," according to the report. The woman was accompanied by two other men. When the Metra employee went to take out the trash, one of the men was waiting by the dumpster and watched him, police said. A similar incident occurred around the same time just two days earlier.

Drills Stolen From Vehicle

A 37-year-old man, who was parked in the 2700 block of McClennan Court in Naperville, reported that someone pried open the rear door of his vehicle, breaking both the handle and locking mechanism. The man said that two DeWalt trim nail guns missing from the vehicle. Each tool was valued at $250, he told police. The man said he believed the break-in occurred between 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8.

Kids Seen Trespassing

Police said they received a report from a security guard who said he spotted two male juveniles around 11 p.m. on the north side of a construction fence outside a Naperville school, which was not identified in the report. A third juvenile climbed from the south side of the fence to the north side, stated the report. "One of the male juveniles was holding a red, boxy type item; possibly a gas can," according to the report. No juveniles were found on school property.
