Police Blotter: iPad Stolen from Apple Store, DUI, Siphoned Gas

Friday, Sept. 28 

Protection order violation

Andrew Walter Prah, 36, of the 500 block of Fessler Avenue, was arrested at 4:45 a.m. near 18th Avenue and State Street in Chicago, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with violation of a protection order and transported to DuPage County Jail.

  • Christina Joy Cruz, 33, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. in the 700 block of Inland Circle, police said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bond was $500.
  • Jerrail Deshon Johnson-Blalark, 23, of the 6900 block of Longmeadow Lane in Hanover Park, was arrested at 12:16 p.m. near Freedom Drive and Warrenville Road, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Unauthorized video recording

Daniel Edward Lofgren, 35, of the 1100 block of Iroquois Avenue, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with unauthorized video recording. His bail was $5,000.

Driving under the influence 

  • Griffin John Shallow, 23, of the 2800 block of Gypsum Circle, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. in the 2900 block of 83rd Street, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, traffic signal violation and speeding. His bond was $1,000.
  • Jennifer Lee Sailor-Santonocito, 43, of the 1600 block of Glen Ellyn Road in Glendale Heights, was arrested at 8:17 p.m. near East Ogden Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal possession/transportation of liquor. His bond was $300.

Suspended/revoked license

Takesha Devon Craig, 30, of the 100 block of North Long in Chicago, was arrested at 8:26 p.m. near East Jefferson Avenue and South Washington Street, police said. She was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bond was $200.

Retail theft

  • Milton George Garcia, 33, of the 500 block of Woodlawn in Aurora, was arrested at 4:36  p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. He was charged with retail theft and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $150.
  • Christy Lea Fonseca, 33, of the 500 block of Woodlawn in Aurora, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. She was charged with retail theft. Her bond was $150.

Saturday, Sept. 29

Driving under the influence

  • Justin Guy Carrol, 31, of the 13300 block of Lake Mary Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 2:03 a.m. near South Washington Street and Royce Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, violating minimum speed regulation and improper lane usage. His bail was $3,000.
  • Lemuel Solomon Dahan, 30, of the 2800 block of Windsor Drive in Lisle, was arrested at 2:32 a.m. in the first block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with violating the lamps & lights act and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Megan Ann Froehlich, 23, of the first block of Redspire Court in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:27 a.m. near Redstart Road and South Washington Street, police said. She was charged with speeding, improper lane usage and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Unlawful solicting on a highway

Kyer John Constante, 44, of the 4800 block of 23rd Street in Cicero, was arrested at 5:42 p.m. in the 200 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with unlawful pedestrian soliciting on a highway. His bail was $1,500.

Interfering with an officer

Walter Lee Jackson, 20, of the 100 block of North Leclaire Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. in the 3400 block of Odyssey Court, police said. He was charged with interfering with an officer. His bond was $120.

Endangering the health/life of a child

Norma Isela Casas, 36, of the 1200 block of West Illinois Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 7:12 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged with endangering the health/life of a child. Her bail was $1,500.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Toi Mercelle Cargile, 21, of the 1300 block of Monomy Street in Aurora, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Wild Cherry Road, police said. She was charged with C/r/s registration, driving on a suspended/revoked license and improper use of register or title. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Pote Roger Bassia, 49, of the 6100 block of North Oakley Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with no city sticker on cab and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.

Stolen iPad 

Marques S. Haynes, 40, of the 1600 block of Victoria Park Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 7:27 a.m. in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and retail theft after stealing an Apple iPad valued at $499.99 from the Apple store in downtown Naperville, police said. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Criminal trespass to land

Andrew Clay Armstrong, 48, of the 700 block of West Liberty Street in Wheaton, was arrested at 7:32 p.m. in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land and bail bond violation. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Driving under the influence of drugs

Oscar Jesus Becerra, 19, of the 500 block of Beaconsfield Avenue, was arrested at 3:17 a.m. in the 3000 block of Serenity Lane, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, driving under the influence of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, traffic control violation, possession of liquor by a minor and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. His bail was $3,000.

Sunday, Sept. 30

Possession of cannabis

Pawel Igor Kaszowski, 19, of the 3000 block of Serenity Lane was arrested at 3:17 a.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with consumption of liquor by a minor, possession of cannabis and interfering with an officer. His bond was $120.

Resisting a peace officer

Ayrionna Tyree Broddus, 20, of the 5S000 block of Pebblewood, was arrested at 7:17 p.m. near Fairway Drive and Greenwood Circle, police said. She was charged with resisting a peace officer and false report to 911. Her bail was $1,500.

Property damage

Someone threw something and cracked a window in the 100 block of East Fifth Avenue, police said.

Car hits deer

A car hit a deer near Raymond Drive and McDowell Road, police said.

Cheap gas, by any means

Someone siphoned 30 gallons of diesel fuel from a Caterpillar excavator overnight, police said.

iPod found

An Apple iPod was found in a parking lot in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said.

Mailbox mischief

Someone threw a large pumpkin at a mailbox in the 2700 block of Willow Ridge Drive, police said.

Car burglary

A burglary to a car was reported in the 2500 block of Saltmeadow Road, police said. Nothing was missing, but the glove box was emptied and rifled through.

Stolen purse

A purse was stolen in the 2800 block of Showplace Drive, police said.

House egged

House egged several times during the past year in the 1300 block of Dryden Court, police said.
