Police Blotter: Identity Theft, Meth Possession

Naperville Police Department reports, March 12

Identity theft

Cheryl L. Whitehead, 53, of the 200 block of Ensenada in Carpentersville, was arrested at 11 a.m. in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue, the  said. She was charged with identity theft. 

Warrant

  • Clyde S. Meyer, 20, of the 600 block of North Main Street, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. near Benton Avenue at Mill Street, police said. He was charged in connection with a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $2,000.
  • Police said Charles Vincent Chesnul, 20, of the 700 block of Royal St. George Drive, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. near West Ogden Avenue and North River Road. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $5,000.

Possession

Police said Kuldeep Singh Chatha, 49, of the 2200 block of McCartney Drive, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. at his home and charged with possession of less than 15 grams of methamphetamine. His bond was $50,000.

Suspended license

Rita M. Carr, 45, of the 500 block of South Villa Avenue, was arrested at 11:13 a.m. in the 2400 block of Sheehan Drive, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license.

No driver’s license

Antonio Hernandez-Nunez, 30, of the 1400 block of Foxcroft Drive in Aurora, was arrested 11:51 p.m. near East Interstate 88 and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving with one headlamp on, operating an uninsured vehicle and no driver’s license. His bond was $2,000.

Theft

A 23-year-old man reported someone took his Apple iPhone from a classroom in the first block of East Franklin Avenue between March 7 and March 12. The phone is valued at $250.
