Police Blotter: Heroin Overdose, DUI, Forgery, Pumpkin Chuckin'

Friday Oct. 5

Retail theft

Vincent Gilbert Reiling, 53, of the 27 W 600 block of Swan Lake Drive in Wheaton, was arrested at 8:09 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Route 59, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with no driver’s license and retail theft. His bail was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

• Douglas Craig Obermeyer, 53, of the 3200 block of Tussell Street, was arrested at 1:18 p.m. near South Washington Street and Martin Avenue, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
• Krunal R. Patel, 25, of the 1000 block of East Benton Street in Aurora, was arrested at 1:27 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and South Birchwood Drive, police said. He was charged with following too close, failure to give a signal, failure to dim headlights, operating of a vehicle while texting and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Possession of cannabis

• Colin Fitzgerald Prescott, 21, of the 4700 block of Beau Bien Boulevard in Lisle, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. near Naper Boulevard and Keswick Lane, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, improper lane usage and no driver’s license. His bail was $1,500.
• Garrett Ian Gnade, 36, of the 5700 block of FM in Henderson, was arrested at 2:44 a.m. in the 400 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

Amanda Dee Lara, 28, of the 100 block of Mantle Lane in Carol Stream was arrested at 12:50 a.m. in the 700 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with speeding, driving on a suspended/revoked license, failure to notify Secritary of State of address change and a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bail was $5,000.

Suspended/revoked license

Alberto Jimenez-Velazquez, 23, of the 200 block of Monteray Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:16 a.m. near Worthington Drive and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with no registration and driving on a suspended/revoke license. His bail was $1,500. 

Saturday, Oct. 6

Driving under the influence

• Debra Ann Bruno-Nevin, 47, of the 25800 block of Pastoral Drive in Plainfield, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. near White Eagle Drive and Route 59, police said. She was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, failure to give a signal and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $100.
• Christopher Scott, 37, of the 15100 block of South Marshfield Street in Harvery, was arrested at 3:44 a.m. in the 500 block of Burning Tree Lane, police said. He was charged with improper parking on a roadway, operating a vehicle without insurance and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $100.
• Aaron Michael Stuker, 27, of the 200 block of South Orchard Drive in Bolingbrook,was arrested at 2:14 a.m. near Ring Road and Knoch Knolls Road, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Resisting a peace officer

Daniel John Zager, 27, of the 300 block of Carriage Hill Road, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct. His bail was $1,500.

Warrant arrest 

• Laura Anne Katter, 35, of the 800 block of Beaumont Drive, was arrested at 10:57 p.m. at her residence, police said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bail was $10,000.
• Francisco Gutierrez, 43, of the 700 block of Inland Circle, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.
• Brittney Nicole Colwell, 25, of the 900 block of McClaran Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. near La Salle Avenue nad North Route 59, police said. He was charged with obstructing identification, illegal possession/transportation of liquor and two failure-to-appear warrants. She was transported to Dupage County jail.

Suspended/revoked license

Neiko Julien Brown, 22, of the 800 block of Genesee Drive, was arrested at 11:43 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.

Criminal damage to state property

Karen A. Jahnke, 47, of the 800 block of north Prater Avenue in Melrose Park, was arrested at 10:52 a.m. in the 100 block of Spaulding Drive, police said. She was charged with criminal damage to state property. Her bail was $1,500.

Forgery

Dwight Salvatore Albanese, 61, of the 1700 block of Berkley Street in Elgin, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. in the 100 block of Barrington Avenue in East Dundee, police said. He was charged with forgery and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $75,000.

Warrant arrest

• Abraham Aparicio-Moran, 26, of the 2500 block of Waterbury Drive in Woodridge, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, obstructing identification, operating a vehicle without insurance and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.
• Ariana Flores Sanchez, 27, of the 2500 block of Waterbury Drive in Woodridge, was arrested at 10:11 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and South Route 59, police said. She was charged with permitting unauthorized person to drive, not wearing a seat belt and a failure to appear warrant. Her bail was $3,000.

Driving under the influnce 

• Brian Craig Roman, 24, of the 13900 block of Isle Royal Circle in Plainfield, was arrested at 4:04 a.m. near 83rd Street and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
• Maciej Pietrowicz, 29, of the 1900 block of Stewart Lane in Plainfield, was arrested at 2:39 a.m. near Royce Road and South Washignton Street, police said. He was charged with illegal lane usage and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
• John Tucker Sargent, 17, of the 2400 block of Legacy Drive in Aurora, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Washignton Street, police said. He was charged with traffic control violation, speeding, operating a vehicle without insurance and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.

Resisting a peace officer

Rowanne Domenica Roman, 21, of the 15400 block of South James Avenue in Plainfield, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. near Cantore and South Route 59, police said. She was charged with speeding a resisting a peace officer. Her bail was $1,500.

Suspended/revoked license

Christopher Paul Wojak, 22, of the 5800 block of North 91st Street in Milwaukee, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. near McDowell and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with registration expiration and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.

Possession of drug paraphernalia 

Sonja Mai Radtke, 28, of the 5700 block of West Galena in Milwaukee, was arrested at 10:37 p.m. near McDowell and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was $1,500.

Leaving the scene of an accident

Justine Elizabeth Olinger, 27, of the 500 block of Rockhurst Road in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:23 a.m. in the 0-99 block of East Jefferson Avenue, police said. She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Her bail was $1,500.

Graffiti

The word "snow" was painted on a stop sign near Hobson Road and South Naper Boulevard, police said.

Vehicle entered

An unlocked vehicle was entered in the 5300 block of Bundleflower Court, police said.

Stolen bracelet

A sterling bracelet with glass beads went missing from a store in the 100 block of South Washington Street, police said.

Leaf wars

A resident complained of a neighbor blowing leaves onto his yard in the 900 block of Merrimac Circle, police said.

Property damage

A glass and window frame on a front door was damaged in the 1300 block of Crab Apple Court, police said.

Windows smashed

• A large rock was used to brake the front door window of a car and a GPS unit was taken in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive, police said.
• A front driver’s side window was smashed after someone threw a landscape brick though the window and then stole a Garmin Nuvi GPS in the 1600 block of Prestwick Drive, police said.

Roommate stealing money $300 missing in the 700 block of Royal St. George, police said.

Gasoline was stolen in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road, police sad

Heroin overdose

A 22-year-old white male overdosed on heroin and was transported to the hospital in the 800 block of Tulip Lane, police said.

Slash top

A car's convertible top was cut open and a radio faceplate was removed in the 100 block of 4th Avenue, police said. 

Monday, Oct. 8 

Driving under the influence

Kevin Matthew Crain, 35, of the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive in Darien, was arrested at 11:17 p.m. in the 1300 block of Modaff Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.

Criminal trespass

Reggional Jevon Williams, 20, of the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. at his residence, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land, interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct breach of peace. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

• Jessica Lynn Cavanagh, 19, of the 1400 block of Swansea Court, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. She was transported to Will County Jail. 
• Robert Edward Okon, 61, of the 1400 block of Calcutta Lane, was arrested at 1:52 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant.

No driver's license

Hector Sinaca, 27, of the 1400 block of North Eagle Street, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. near Benedetti Drive and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with registration expiration, operating a vehicle without insurance and no driver’s license. His bail was $2,000.

Criminal trespass

Michael Leroy Gaither, 23, of the 200 block of Meadowbrook Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to land and interfering with an officer. His bond was $120.

Pumpkin chuckin' 

A pumpkin was thrown at a mailbox in the 3600 block of Grassmere Road, police said.
