Police Blotter: Fugitive From Justice; Missing Rims

Sunday, feb. 13

Driving under the influence

Police said they arrested Lena N. Wilmington, 28, of the 4200 block of Windrift Drive in Aurora, around 2:20 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Ogden Avenue and charged her with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding over the statutory limit, failure to use a turn signal when required and failure to notify the secretary of state of an address change.

Michael G. Roehl, 51, of the 1200 block of Tennyson Lane in , was arrested around 7 p.m. near the intersection of South River Road and Rickert Drive, police said. He was charged with improper lane use, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, disobeying a stop sign and driving under the influence of alcohol. His  bail was set at $3,000.

Possession of marijuana

Joseph M. Costello, 28, of the first block of South Huffman Avenue in , was arrested around 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of South Naper Boulevard and Rockbridge Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence of drugs, speeding, driving with a suspended/revoked license and illegal possession of liquor by a driver.

Saturday, Feb. 12

Driving under the influence

Roberta M. Tintor, 54, of the 1300 block of Washburn Way in Lockport, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of South Route 59 and Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count each of improper lane use and driving without wearing a seat belt. Her bail was set at $3,000, according to the police report.

Missing rims

Police said that a vehicle owner reported that the rims and tires were missing from his or her 2011 Suzuki, which was parked in the 1600 block of Aurora Avenue in . They said they believed the rims were stolen between 9 p.m. Friday Feb. 11 and 9:50 a.m. Saturday Feb. 12. The car was left on four patio bricks, police said.

Warrant arrest

Marc C. Noe, 40, of the 300 block of Marion Avenue in Glen Ellyn, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of East Ogden Avenue on two original warrants, police said. He was also charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Paul J. Komyatte, 39, of the 1000 block of East Division Street in Lombard, was arrested around 5 a.m. near the intersection of North Naper Boulevard and East Diehl Road on two failure-to-appear warrants out of DuPage County, police said. He was also charged with obstructing justice. His  bail was set at $20,000.

Battery

Police said they arrested Morgan K. Rodriguez, 18, of the 100 block of North Sleight Street in , around 11:30 p.m. at her home. She was charged with battery.

Friday, Feb. 11

Fugitive from justice

James E. Azarco, 38, of the 2300 block of Charmingfare Drive in Woodridge, was arrested around 11:45 a.m. at his home on an original warrant. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice, police said.

Driving under the influence

Catherine M. Shanahan, 62, of the 1100 block of Grace Drive in Yorkville, was arrested around 8 p.m. near the intersection of West Diehl Road and North Route 59, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of failure to reduce speed. Her bail was set at $3,000.

Douglas J. Lim, 49, of the 700 block of Rock Spring Road in , was arrested around 9 p.m. near the intersection of West 87th Street and Glen Eagles Drive, police said. He was charged with driving with headlights that did not meet regulations, improper lane use and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was set at  $3,000.

Police said they arrested Megan M. Di Monda, 26, of the 300 block of Basswood Drive in , around 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of South Naper Boulevard and Hobson Drive. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count each of failure to reduce speed, driving without a valid driver's license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Her bail was set at $3,000.

Warrant arrest

Police said they arrested Nicole M. Melone, 26, of the 200 block of Plumtree Lane in West Chicago, around 9:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of 95th Street on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was set at $5,000.

Jenna E. Moudy, 25, of the first block of South Naper Boulevard in , was arrested around 1 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Ave., on a failure-to-appear warrant out of DuPage County, police said. Her  bail was set at $2,000.

Illegal possession of liquor by a driver

John A. Henderson, 58, of the 200 block of East Bailey Road in , was arrested around 1 p.m. near the intersection of South Washington Street and West Porter Avenue. Police said he was charged with illegal possession of liquor by a driver and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was set at $1,500.
