Police Blotter: Fishy Gas Tank Activity; Teen Allegedly Found With Meth, Pot

Delivery of controlled substances

Police said Daniel C. Mick, 40, of the 100 block of East Pleasant Avenue in Sandwich, was arrested around 2:20 p.m. near the intersection of North Route 59 and West Interstate 88. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and manifesting/delivery of controlled substances.

Possession of controlled substance

Patricia J. Tibbits, 34, of the 100 block of East Pleasant Avenue in Sandwich, was arrested around 2:10 p.m. near the intersection of North Route 59 and West Interstate 88, police said. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Jackets found in roadway

Police said they found two jackets in the street around 3:15 a.m. near the intersection of Book and Wicklow roads. One was a Russo brand tan, nylon coat with yellow cloth sleeves, size 4XL. The other was a Stitches brand, lightweight black and white White Sox jacket, size 2XL.

Attempted break-ins

A 33-year-old woman, of the 1600 block of Furman Drive in Naperville, reported that during the past 1 1/2 months, someone has tried turning the door knob of her front door at least five times. The woman said the incidents usually occur between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., according to the police report.

Suspicious gas tank activity

Police said a woman reported that someone damaged the gas tank door locks on two buses that were parked in a lot in the 2000 block of 95th Street in Naperville. No gas was stolen but the woman said she believed someone attempted to do so between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m.

Warrant arrest

Police said Timothy O. Hooper, 26, of the 500 block of Kiowa Drive in Naperville, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Kiowa and Ishnala Drives on a failure-to-appear warrant for obstructing justice out of DuPage County. His bail was set at $5,000.

Driving under influence of alcohol

William A. Finet, 23, of the 300 block of Redstart Road in Naperville, was arrested around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Royce Road and South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with speeding, violating a traffic control device, improper lane use, illegal possession of liquor by a driver and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was set at $3,000.

Teen allegedly found with meth, pot

Police said Thomas M. Crisp, 19, of the 1200 block of Sunnybrook Drive in Naperville, was arrested around 4:15 p.m. at his home. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of less than 100 but more than 15 grams of meth/analog.
