Police Blotter: Fake ID, Missing Diamond Earring

Suspended license

  • Gerald Edward Drye, 30, last known address in the 2700 block of Shelly Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. in the 500 block of West Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive, said. He was charged with driving without insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license and not wearing a seat belt. His bail was $2,000.
  • Jorge Cruz-Salinas, 28, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 4:42 p.m. in the 500 block of 75th Street and the intersection of Wehrli Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and driving without insurance. His bail was $2,000.
  • Armando Pacindo, 19, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 12:42 a.m. at West 5th Avenue and Royal Saint George Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, possession of a fraudulent identification card, no front/rear plate/permit displayed and no rear registration place light. His bail was $1,500. 

Missing property

A 34-year-old woman in the 1400 block of Saranell Avenue reported that a one-carat diamond earring valued at $4,500 was missing, police said. The earring was reportedly missing between July 1 and Dec. 2. The woman believes it was stolen because there have been a number of people in and out of the home.
