Excessive speeding

Michael L. Zhang, 27, of the 100 block of West 75th Street in New York, New York, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Washington Street and Iroquois Avenue, police said. He was charged with speeding more than 40 mph over the statutory limit and improper lane use. His bail was set at $2,000.

Theft

Tracy L. Kluzek, 39, of the 9000 block of West 140th Street in Orland Park, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Ave., on an original warrant. Police said she was charged with theft. Her bail was set at $2,000.

Residential burglary

Marquis S. Davis, 17, of the 1100 block of West Ogden Avenue in , was arrested around 2:40 p.m. at the , 1350 Aurora Ave., and charged with residential burglary, police said. Additional information was not available Thursday.

Allegedly charging at an officer

Yvonne Mejias, 33, of the 200 block of Rose Meade in Pasadena Calif., was arrested around 10 a.m. at the Naperville Police Department, 1350 Aurora Ave., police said. Mejias wanted to complain about a speeding ticket she had received near the intersection of East Chicago Avenue and South Columbia Street, according to the report. As she began to complain to a sergeant, she became very animated and then ran toward the squad car of the officer who issued her the ticket and stood in front of his vehicle, preventing him from leaving, police said. "She then said that she was going to write down (the officer's) license plate, program it into her phone and follow him everywhere he goes until she got her license back," stated the report. As the ticketing officer drove away, the sergeant tried to reason with Mejias, the report said. But she refused to listen. She was charged with battery and resisting a peace officer. Her bail was set at $1,500.

Driving under the influence of alcohol

Phillip M. Olczak, 24, of the 2900 block of Kilburne Lane in , was arrested around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Cantore Road and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of violating a traffic control device. His bail was set at $3,000.

Police said Stephan M. Spinner, 42, of the 800 block of Riva Ridge Court in , was arrested round 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of North Washington Street and East Ogden Avenue. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. His bail was set at $3,000.
