Naperville Police Department reports, April 26 - 28

Friday, April 26

Suspended/revoked license

  • Brian Thomas Butler, 25, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. in the 1600 block of Killdeer Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 
  • Gilberto Delatorre, 25, was arrested at 10:23 p.m. near Liberty Street and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving on suspended/revoked license and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Hit and run

Ryan Edward Sass, 24, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with failure to notify owner of damage to an unattended vehicle. He posted bond.

Resisting peace officer

Adam Higgins Swinford, 23, was arrested at 2 p.m. in the 1600 block of Kildeer Drive, police said. He was charged with resisting a peace officer and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Saturday, April 27 

Battery

Robert Jerome Riley, 25, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. in the 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery. He posted bond.

Possession of cannabis

Arturo Lopez, 21, was arrested at 3:31 a.m. near Naper Boulevard and Arlington Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond.

Retail theft

  • Suzanne Elizabeth Vertin, 49, was arrested at 12:12 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said. She was charged with retail theft. She posted bond. 
  • Christopher Shawn Yearby, 34, was arrested at 4:23 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 75th Street, police said. He was charged with retail theft and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

DUI

  • Jaime Yoon Jung Schultz, 41, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. in the 1400 block of Georgia Court, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after she allegedly crashed into a parked car and a electrical box, police said. She posted bond. 
  • Monica Bosco, 33, was arrested at 11:30 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and NapervilleWheaton Road, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 

Disorderly conduct

  • William Edward Coney, 21, was arrested at 10:39 p.m. in the 300 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct breach of peace after he was allegedly attempting to sell drugs in a park and then threatening to rob people when they refused to by drugs, police said. He posted bond. 
  • Alexander Quinn Nicholas, 25, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. in the 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct breach of peace. He posted bond. 

Battery

David John Kulevich, 46, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. in the 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery. He posted bond.

Sunday, April 28

Possession of cannabis

Rafal John Agaciak, 18, was arrested at midnight in the 1600 block of West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 

Fake ID

Desmond Jermaine Cato, 20, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of a false identification card. He posted bond. 

Battery

  • Daniel James Dierking, 24, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery. He posted bond. 
  • Alvin Kyle Dent, 18, was arrested at 9:03 p.m. in the 2300 block of High Meadow Road, police said. He was charged with battery and transported to Will County Jail. 

No insurance

Alfredo Sanchez-Perez, 24, was arrested at 2:34 a.m. near Ferry Road and Route 59, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance. He posted bond. 

Suspended/revoked license

  • Jeffrey Wade Wells, 37, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. near Mill Street and West 5th Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 
  • Travis Jeroid Harmon, 25, was arrested at 3:48 a.m. near Chalet Road and Valley Drive, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 

DUI

Craig Albert Gutzwiller, 42, was arrested at 9:47 p.m. near 75th Street and Wehrli Road, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 

Tractor tire float

Two white male teens and a male black teen were seen stealing two tractor tires, which North Central College football players use to train with, from the North Central College football field. The teens fled on foot after North Central College campus safety saw the teens trying to cross the DuPage River with the tires in the 400 block of South Brainard Street around 4:35 p.m. Sunday, police said. 

Items stolen

Items were stolen from a motel room in the 1300 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. 

Well, this is awkward

A man showed up at his ex-girlfriend's sister's apartment and was surprised to see his ex-girlfriend inside in the 2500 block of Durango Lane. The ex-girlfriend did not want to pursue anything, but just wanted him to leave. He left upon request, police said.

Theft

A vending machine was broken into and cash was removed in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. 

Purse stolen

A small gray purse was stolen from a restaurant in the 3000 block of English Rows Avenue, police said.
