Police Blotter: Retail Theft Reported, Purses Stolen, DUI Charged

Driving under the influence

  • Ryan Philip Servos, 22, of the 2400 block of Wentworth Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 12:24 a.m. near West Ogden Avenue and North Main Street, said. He was charged with violating the lights and lamps act and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Adam Omar Henry, 22, of the 4700 block of Thatcher Drive, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. near East Ogden Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, speeding, improper passing on the left and two counts of driving under the influence. His bond was $300.

No driver's license

Juan Pablo, Rodriguez Perez, 21, of the 1400 block of Indian Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, no driver’s license and failure to reduce speed. His bond was $200.

Retail theft

Jacquex Sheron Hoskins, 19, of the 100 block of Vantroba Drive in Glendale Heights, was arrested at 2:32 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with illegal lane use, failure to yield on private road or driveway and retail theft. His bond was $1,500.

Theft 

  • A 47-year-old female left her car unlocked in the 700 block of Mulberry Court and her purse along with three credit cards were taken. Purse is valued at $30, police said. 
  • A purse along with a wallet were taken from a car in the 800 block of Livingston Court, police said.
