Naperville Police Department reports, July 13-15

Friday, July 13

No driver's license

Marco Antonio Romero, 25, of the 200 block of Trask Street in Aurora, was arrested at 11:21 p.m. in the first block of McCoy Drive, said. He was charged with no driver’s license. His bail was $1,500.

Warrant arrest

Jamal Jerome Perdue, 39, of the 2800 block of Charlotte Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri Kansas was arrested at 3:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue, police said. He was charged on two failure-to-appear warrants. His bail was $8,500.

Suspended/revoked license

  • Dickey Lorenzo Jones, 52, of the 16000 block of Plymouth Drive in Markham, was arrested at 1:35 a.m. near West 75th Street and Book Road, police said. He was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, driving on a suspended/revoked license and improper lane usage. His bond was $200.
  • John R. Tudela, 24, of the 2400 block of Oak Street in Franklin Park, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. near Plainfield Naperville Road and 87th Street, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and operating a vehicle without insurance. His bond was $200.

Driving under the influence

Fernando Arriaga, 24, of the 700 block of East Downers Place in Aurora, was arrested at 1:15 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Devonshire Court, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and expired registration. His bond was $300.

Saturday, July 14

Driving under the influence

  • Peter Robert Gauger, 58, of the 500 block of Fessler Avenue, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, driving on a suspended/revoked license, unsafe backing on a roadway, failure to reduce speed and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Joseph Alexander Soucie, 39, of the 1000 block of Courtland Place in Aurora, was arrested at 3:01 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Aurora Road, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession/transportation of liquor and improper lane usage. His bail was $3,000.
  • Peggy Ann Peterson, 32, of the 8600 block of Foxborough Way in Joliet, was arrested at 12:54 a.m. near Crystal Rock Road and South Route 59, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Jennifer Anne Jesso, 41, of the 1100 block of Johnson Drive, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. in the first block of East Gartner Road, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper turn at an intersection and improper lane usage. Her bail was $3,000.

Testing the waters 

Ulysee Erik Berquist, 18, of the 2300 block of University Court, was arrested at 3:24 a.m. in the 2300 block of Leverenz Road, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land, consumption of alcohol by a minor and disorderly conduct after swimming nude in a stranger’s fenced in swimming pool. His bail was $1,500.

Possession of cannabis

Monty Ray Pearson, 21, of the 1300 block of South Glen Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 1 a.m. in the 600 block of Genesee Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

Brenda Bautista, 23, of the 1300 block of South Glen Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. near Genesee Drive and North Aurora Road, police said. She was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, expired registration and a failure-to-appear warrant. Her bond was $350.

Suspended/revoked license

Martha Hernandez, 27, of the 5S000 block of Karns Road, was arrested at 10:28 p.m. in the 500 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $1,500.

Extreme home makeover

A vacant home was entered by unknown means and vandalized extensively, including water damage to the entire home in the 900 block of Sleight Street, police said. 

Purse left behind

A woman placed groceries in her vehicle and drove off leaving her purse in the grocery cart in the 2800 block of 95th Street, police said.

Cars keyed 

Two vehicles were keyed in the 1000 block of North Mill Street, police said.

Stolen bikes

  • A brown Mongoose bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 500 block of Kiowa Drive. The bike had been locked up and the lock was possibly picked, police said.
  • A blue/green mountain bike was stolen from a park behind Five Guys in the 300 block of South Washington Street, police said.

Underage drinking

Five female subjects were cited with underage consumption of alcohol in the 3600 block of Breitweieser Lane, police said.

Uprooted

Someone pulled up several plants from the median and threw them into the street near Hamlet Road and Plainfield/Naperville Road, police said.  

Sunday, July 15

Driving under the influence

Karla Renee Zimmer, 24, of the 600 block of Carlisle Court in Sugar Grove, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Washington Street, police said. She was charged with improper lane usage, illegal possession/transportation of liquor, driving on a suspended/revoked license, obstructing identification, following too close and driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was $3,000.

Aggravated battery 

Joseph Timothy Cowans, 24, of the 4900 block of West Rice in Chicago, was arrested at 9:36 p.m. in the 2400 block of Woodlake Court, police said. He was charged with knowingly damaging property, aggravated battery and aggravated reckless driving. He was transported to Will County Jail.

Theft 

Fred Smith, 51, of the 100 block of West 117th Street in Chicago, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with theft. His bail was $1,500.

Battery

  • Sotiraq Terziu, 24, of the first block of West Medinah Circle in Glendale Heights, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. in the first block of west Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery and battery/bodily harm. His bail was $1,500.
  • Daniel Oxhaku, 24, of the first block of North Martha Street in Lombard, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery/bodily harm and battery. His bail was $1,500.
  • Taulant Oxhaku, 26, of the first block of North Martha in Lombard, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with battery and battery/bodily harm. His bail was $1,500.

Burglary

A garage was burglarized in the 1900 block of Continental Avenue, police said.

Property damage

Fence pickets were damaged and landscape stones were removed in the 500 block of Prairie Knoll Drive, police said.

Gone fishin'?

Someone took two metal fish tank stands from the rear of a business and a 15 foot pole in the 2600 block of Forgue Drive, police said.
