Police Blotter: Missing Tools, Damage to a Putting Green

Individuals who are listed in the Police Blotter have been charged with a crime but have not been proven guilty in court.

Monday, Sept. 6
DAMAGED PROPERTY
Victim reported damage to the windshield and rear driver-side window of a 2002 Nissan parked in the 500 block of East Fifth Avenue. Damage is believed to have occurred between 5 p.m. Sept. 5 and 4:30 a.m. Sept. 6.


Sunday, Sept. 5
BURGLARY TO A MOTOR VEHICLE
Victim reported a radar detector missing from a vehicle parked in the 2000 block of Spice Circle. The victim suspects it was stolen between 9 a.m. Sept. 3 and Sept. 6.

BURGLARY
Victim reported about $1,450 worth of tools missing from a shed outside his or her home in the 1300 block of Leawood Court. The victim suspects the tools were stolen between 1 p.m. Sept. 4 and noon Sept. 6.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Raymond Archuleta, 44, of Plainfield was arrested around 12:25 a.m. near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Washington Street. He was charged with driving under the influence and having a defective muffler on his vehicle.

ILLEGAL TRANSPORTATION OF ALCOHOL
Victor A. Sanchez, 22, of Aurora was arrested around 2 a.m. near the intersection of North Aurora Road and Route 59. He was charged with driving with a suspended license and illegal possession/transportation of liquor.

HARASSMENT
A female resident in the 700 block of Raymond Drive reported receiving harassing telephone calls around 11:20 p.m. She said the caller would wait until she answered, say "sniper," and hang up the phone.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Syed A. Hussaini, 28, of Naperville was arrested around 9:35 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Mill Street. He was charged with possession of 2.5 grams or more of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was reportedly found smoking marijuana in his parked vehicle.

Shaun W. Kure, 18, of Naperville was arrested around 11 p.m. near Patterson Elementary School, 3731 Lawrence Drive. He was charged with possession of marijuana.

Alexander Gentile, age and address not given, was arrested around 11:20 p.m. near the intersection of Mulligan and Fairway drives. He was charged with possession of marijuana, improper backing and a hit and run accident.


Saturday, Sept. 4
PROPERTY DAMAGE
A report was made that a bicycle ridden over hole 21 at White Eagle Golf Club, 3400 Club Drive, tore up the turf on the green. The destruction is believed to have occurred between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The victim reported that the hood and windshield of his or her vehicle was damaged while parked near the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Webster Street. Damage is suspected to have occurred between 7:15 and 11:20 p.m.

FIGHTING
Robert M. Sarmiento, 25, of Naperville was arrested around 2:10 a.m. near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Washington Street. He was charged with fighting and interfering with a police officer.

BATTERY
Eric D. Hunt, 30, of Naperville was arrested around 11:30 p.m. in his home located in the first block of East Benton Avenue. He was charged with battery causing great bodily harm and battery after he reportedly punched a 46-year-old man in face.

INTOXICATED PEDESTRIAN RESISTS PEACE OFFICER
Shana M. Prymicz, 25, of Lisle was arrested around 1:35 a.m. near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Washington Street and was charged with being a pedestrian under the influence. She was also charged with disorderly conduct, disobeying a pedestrian control signal, battery, and two counts of resisting a peace officer.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Jadon A. Poindexter, 26, of Aurora was arrested around 2:40 a.m. near the intersection of Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane use.

Darren S. Hardaway, 21, of Bolingbrook was arrested around 2:40 a.m. near the intersection of Aurora and Ogden avenues. He was charged with driving without a valid license, illegal possession or transportation of liquor, speeding and two counts of driving under the influence.

Courtney M. Priess, 23, of Aurora was arrested around 3:35 a.m. near the intersection of Interstate 88 and Route 59. She was charged with failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle, making an improper turn at an intersection and two counts of driving under the influence.


Friday, Sept. 3
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Jovanne F. Muro, 25, of Aurora was arrested around 1:15 a.m. near the intersection of McCoy Drive and Route 59 in Aurora. He was charged with driving without having a license in her possession, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a traffic control device, making an improper turn at an intersection and two counts of driving under the influence.

Allen S. Morlock, 47, of Downers Grove was arrested around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Iroquois and Ogden avenues. He was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and two counts of driving under the influence.

Gustavo O. Vega, 21, of Naperville was arrested around 1:35 a.m. near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive and charged with driving without a valid license, failure to signal, improper lane use, driving without a rear license plate light, failure to wear a seat belt and two counts of driving under the influence.

Brian D. Caywood, 36, of Bolingbrook was arrested around 1:45 a.m. near the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Washington Street. He was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use.

Brianna M. Tadin, 25, of Naperville was arrested around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Washington Street. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

THEFT
A Singer sewing machine was reported missing from Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, 526 S. Route 59. It is suspected the machine, valued at $600, was stolen between 6 p.m Sept. 2 and 10 a.m. Sept. 3.

HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
Witness reported that around 8:25 p.m., the driver of a truck struck and damaged a vehicle near the intersection of Diehl Road and Raymond Drive and then fled the scene.

INTERFERING WITH A POLICE REPORT
Lawrence E. Spruill, 41, of Naperville was arrested around 4:30 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave., and was charged with interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.

WARRANT ARREST
Frederick T. Petty, 30, of Aurora was arrested around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of North Aurora Road and Waterfall Street on an Illinois State Police warrant.

Kelly A. Lee, 45, of Lisle, was arrested around 9:15 pm. near the intersection of Ridgeland Avenue and Naperville-Wheaton Road on two warrants.

OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE
Don D. Harris, 43, of Bolingbrook was arrested around 9:15 pm. near the intersection of Ridgeland Avenue and Naperville-Wheaton Road. He was charged with obstruction of justice.

BURGLARY TO A MOTOR VEHICLE
The victim reported a catalytic converter missing from a Jeep Cherokee parked in the 400 block of Fairway Drive. The converter is valued at about $700 and the victim suspects it was stolen between 3 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Sept. 2.

PROPERTY DAMAGE
The victim reported rear window damage to a minivan parked in the lot at Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington Street. Damage is suspected to have occurred between 5:30 and 5:40 a.m.

A plastic sign was reported broken outside Chesterbook Academy, 2960 Rollingridge Rd. Damage is suspected to have occurred between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 2 and 8 a.m. Sept. 3.
