Friday, July 1

Driving under the influence

Bradley Michael Trygar, 53, of the 1900 block of Trails End Court was arrested at 5:53 p.m. at his residence and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, police said. His bail was $3,000.

Idriss Ahmat Mbodou, 20, of the 1500 block of Fairway Drive was arrested in the 1400 block of N. Aurora Road at 9:56 p.m. for retail theft, police said. His bond was $120.

Sergiu Pistol, 23, of the 900 block of Fairway Drive was arrested at 7:21 p.m. in the 700 block of S. Route 59 and charged with retail theft, according to police. His bail was $1,500.

Michael Jerome Monegan, 18, of the 1500 block of Fairway Drive was arrested at 9:56 p.m. in the 1500 block of N. Aurora Road and charged with retail theft, police said. His bond was $120.

Kelly M. Easter, 26, of the 300 block of N. Center Street Joliet, was arrested at 4:54 p.m. in the 2900 block of Audrey Avenue and charged with theft and retail theft, police said. Her bail was $1,500.

Victor Sirbu, 28, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook was arrested at 7:21 p.m. in the 700 block of S. Route 59 for retail theft, police said. Bail was $1,500.

Aggravated assault

Noe Francisco, 29, of the 400 block of W. Windsor Avenue, Lombard was arrested at 10:55 p.m. in the 900 block of E. Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with aggravated assault. His bail was $1,500.

Suspicious situation

A 34-year-old man reported that an unidentified man was looking into his residence in the 0 block of Whispering Hills Drive at 12:26 a.m. on Friday, police said.

Vandalism

A 46-year-old woman reported that on June 30 at 10:15 p.m. she was driving southbound near Wehrli Road and 77th Street when a vandal threw an egg at her car, police said.

Theft

Someone in the 1500 block of Aurora Avenue reported that between 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday lug nuts were taken from two 2005 Audi A6’s parked in the rear lot, according to police.

A 44-year-old man in the 300 block of S. Route 59 reported that between 7:30 and 10:41 p.m. Friday a thief broke out the passenger side window of a car and stole a GPS and an XM radio, police said.

A 26-year-old man reported between 8 and 10:20 p.m. Friday that someone entered a vehicle at Robin Hill Drive and Mognolia Lane and stole a GPS, iPod and a radio face plate, police said

Assault

A 33-year-old man in the 900 block of E. Ogden Avenue reported that between 9:45 and 10:09 that two men were arguing over a woman and one man was arrested for assault after chasing the other with a screwdriver, police said.

A 34-year-old man in the 1500 block of Bond Street reported that between 9 and 11:52 p.m. Friday someone smashed a window and took a GPS from a car, police said.

Saturday, July 2

Excessive speeding

Jerell D. Johnson, 20, of the 100 block of Somerset, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 2000 block of W. Ogden Avenue and Rickert Drive and charged with speeding more than 40-plus mph over the limit, operating an uninsured vehicle, no lights and no valid license, police said. He was traveling about 82 mph, according to police. Bail was $2,000.

Michael Francesco Mastrolonardo, 18, of the 1200 block of Barbara Court was arrested at 10:25 p.m. at 75th Street and S. Route 59, police said. He was charged with speeding 40-plus mph over the limit. His bail was set at $2,000.

Driving under the influence

Jeremy Mathius Filburn, 37, of the 2600 block of Jenna Circle, Montgomery, was arrested at 1 a.m. at W. 75th Street and Book Road, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession, transportation of liquor by a driver, failure to give signal and improper passing on the shoulder. Bail was set at $3,000.

Shawn Glen Cartwright, 19, of the 30 block of Scarsdale Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. in the 200 block of Meadow and Ferry roads and charged with failing to give signal, knowingly damaging property, two counts of resisting a peace officer, consumption of alcohol by a minor, illegal lane use, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Sean Patrick Murphy, 28, of the 30 block of Forest Avenue was arrested at 1:41 a.m. at 75thStreet and Plainfield-Naperville Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a stop sign, police said. Bail was $3,000.

Josepher Andrew Angileri, 30, 600 block of Angelica Lane, Roscoe, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. at Center Street and E. Ogden Avenue and was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, driving without lights and operating an uninsured vehicle, police said.

Cassandra A. Massaro, 39, of the 2400 block of Joe Adler, Plainfield, 3:05 p.m., no arrest location given, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver, knowingly damaging property and violating a bail bond, police said. Her bail was set at $3,000.

Sharon Marie Skalicky, 43, of the 500 block of Cardinal Avenue, Oswego, was arrested at 1:09 at N. Washington Street and E. 11th Avenue and was charged with making and improper turn at intersection and driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. Bail was $3,000.

Jesse Ryan Tierney, 30, of the 1500 block of Fairway Drive, was arrested at 2:10 a.m. at N. Aurora Road and N. Route 59 and was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal lane use, failure to notify the secretary of state of address change, violating the lights and lamps act, speeding over the limit and failure to give a signal, according to police. Bond was $300.

Criminal trespass

Colin Thomas Meyer, 23, of the 700 block of S. Candota Ave, Mount Prospect was arrested at 8:50 p.m. in the 700 block of S. West Street, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land and disorderly conduct. His bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

Julio Cesar Garcia, 21, of the 900 block of Fairway Drive was arrested at 3:40 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant from DuPage County, police said. His bail was set at $7,500. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Adam V. Fiala, 34, of the 1400 block of Middlebury Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. in the 1500 block of W. Ogden and Aurora avenues on a failure to appear warrant, police said. His bail was $2,500.

Battery

Raymond Steven Turner, 41, of the 300 block of Redbud Drive was arrested at 2:01 a.m. in the 10 block of W. Jefferson Avenue and he was charged with battery, police said. Bail was set at $1,500.

Interfering with an officer

Raffi Jeffrey Demerdjian, 40, of the 1200 block of N. Washington Street was arrested at 1:05 a.m. at N. Washington and E. 11th Avenue and was charged with interfering with an officer, police said. Bond was $120.

Forgery

Matthew J. McMahon, 20, of the 1100 block of Johnson Drive was arrested at 10:31 a.m. at his residence for forgery, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Sunday, July 3

Warrant arrest

Gregorio Millan, 44, of the 20 block W 057 Cape Road was arrested at 10:53 p.m. in the 300 block of North Avenue and N. Loomis Street on a FTA warrant, police said. His bail was set at $8,000.

Interfering with an officer

James J. McCarthy, 48, of the 1100 block of Royal St. George Drive was arrested at 1:50 a.m. in the 0 block of W. Jefferson Avenue and S. Washington Street and was charged with speeding over the limit and interfering with an officer, police said. Bond was $120.

Driving under the influence

Ryan M. Flynn, 25, of the 900 block of Watercress Drive was arrested at 10:23 p.m. at 1200 block of S. Washington Street and W. 75th Street and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage and failing to reduce speed, police said. Bail was $3,000.

Aswad Ahmeer Bryant, 37, of the 1300 block of Branchwood Circle was arrested at 8:06 p.m. in the 1900 block of W. Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and disorderly conduct. Bail was $3,000.

Juan S. Herrera, 29, of the 1500 block of Westminster Drive was arrested at 3:02 a.m. in the 1400 block of W. Ogden Avenue and Raymond Drive and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, operating an uninsured vehicle, failure to notify the secretary of state of an address change, failing to give right away to an emergency vehicle and illegal lane use, police said. Bail was $3,000.

Possession of fireworks

Raymond Arthur Townsend, 39, of the 700 block of Wildflower Circle was arrested at 11:55 p.m. at his residence and was charged possession or sale of fireworks, interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct, police said. Bond was $120.

Parole violation

Walter R. Jackson, 43, of the 1500 block of W. Jefferson Avenue was arrested at 3:29 a.m. at his residence for a parole violation, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Suspended/revoked license

Audrinana D. Clemons, 20, of the 200 block of Walnut Drive, St. Charles was arrested at 6:47 p.m. in the 600 block of N. Route 59 and was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Bail was $2,000.

Theft of services

A 59-year-old man in the 300 block of S. Julian Street reported at 6:35 a.m. that a man fled without paying a $97 cab fare from Chicago, police said.

Monday, July 4

Warrant

Gabriel Saltijeral, 36, of the 2500 block of Concord Court, Montgomery, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 1000 block of W. Ogden Avenue on a failure to appear warrant, police said. His bail was $2,000.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Christopher Alan DiPaolo, 48, of the 1300 block of Winona Avenue, Aurora was arrested at 7:59 p.m. in the 1900 block of Gowdey Road and N. Route 59 and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to give a signal, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Reckless driving

Malcolm Deshaun Steele, 18, of the 2700 block of Bluewater Circle was arrested at 3:38 p.m. at his address and was charged with fleeing police, speeding and reckless driving, police said. Bail was $2,000.

Driving under the influence

Andrew Charles Zielke, 18, of the 20 block of W506 Gordon Court was arrested at 2:08 a.m. in the 10 block of Hillview Drive and Plainfield-Naperville Road and was charged with failing to give signal, two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver, consumption of liquor by a minor, zero tolerance law and possession or sale of fireworks, police said. Bail was $3,000.

Ryan Scott Brown, 29, of the 2600 block of Carrolwood Road was arrested at 3:26 a.m. in the 1600 block of W. Diehl Road and N. Route 59 and was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, expired registration, improper lane use and driving on a suspended/revoked license, police said. Bail was $3,000.

John Jude Strebel, 45, of the 1200 block of Oakton Lane was arrested at 10:55 p.m. in the 200 block of Martin Avenue and Brom Drive and was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed. Bail was $3,000.

Consumption by a minor

Nicholas john Sienkiewicz, 18, of the 2200 block of Mecan Drive was arrested at 2:08 a.m. in the 10 block of Hillview Drive and Plainfield-Naperville Road for consumption of liquor by a minor, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Bond was $120.

Urinating in public

Adam Michael Ator, 22, of the 3200 block of Barnes Lane, was arrested at 9:29 p.m. in the 700 block of S. West Street and was charged with public urination and interfering with an officer, police said.  His bond was $120.

Theft

Douglas James Pierard, 21, of the 4900 block of Garden View Drive was arrested at 9:35 p.m. in the 700 block of S. West Street and was charged with theft and interfering with an officer, police said. His bail was $30,000.

Property damage

A 29-year-old man in the 1900 block of Continental Avenue reported at 12:50 a.m. Monday that a medium-size rock was throw through the sliding glass door to the residence, police said. The door was completely shattered.

Theft

A 41-year-old man in the 700 block of Small Court reported that between 4 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday unknown thieves entered a 2006 Blue Dodge Ram and took a GPS, iPod touch and a radar detector, police said.

A 34-year-old man in the 1600 block of Kirby Court reported that between 4:30 and 6 p.m. someone entered his residence through a basement window and stole items including jewelry and computers, police said.

A 66-year-old woman in the 0 block of W. Jefferson Avenue reported that on Friday her wallet was stolen from her purse, police said.

Suspicious circumstances

Someone reported at 5:26 p.m. in the 3600 block of White Eagle Drive that a dog sitter had not been heard from since Sunday and had left with the homeowner’s vehicle, police said.

At 10:58 p.m. adults and teens in Gartner Park were shooting off fireworks, police said. None of those in attendance admitted ownership. Some ran away when the police showed up, according to police. Illegal fireworks were recovered, such as firecrackers and bottle rockets. Legal fireworks were left. The recovered items were submitted for destruction.

Vandalism

A caller in the 2800 block of Mistflower Lane reported that between June 15 and 16 the home was toilet papered and back yard and deck were egged, police said. The trampoline was defecated on.

A caller in the 2800 block of Mistflower Lane reported that on June 21 the yard was toilet papered and the front French doors were tied shut so that they couldn’t be opened. Teens proceeded to bang on the doors and ring the doorbell, according to police. The teens rang the doorbell every 15 minutes between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. and the homeowner could see it was a group of boys and girls.
