Police Blotter: Driving Under the Influence and Stolen CD Faceplate

Driving under the influence

Johnathan Daniel Mason, 22, of the 500 block of Sharon Way in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of River Oak Drive, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, failure to notify of damage to an unattended vehicle, no driver’s license on person, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to reduce/driving too fast for conditions. His bail was $3,000.

Warrant arrest

Angus Stewart Bear, 18, of the 11000 block of Anvil Court, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. at Hassert Boulevard and Chokeberry Drive, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. His bail was $1,000.

Criminal damage

A resident reported a broken bathroom exterior window on a vacant home in the 3600 block of White Eagle Drive, police said.

Vehicle burglary

A 43-year-old woman in the 2900 block of Bartlett Court, reported that the faceplate from her in dash Kenwood CD player was stolen from her unlocked 1999 Ford Contour, police said.
