Police Blotter: Driver Flees Police, Heads to Cracker Barrel

Warrant arrest

  • Daney Ann Wilkerson, 54, of the 1300 block of South Glenn Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 7:50 p.m., said. She was charged on an original warrant in connection with retail theft. Her bond was $500.
  • Vincent Michael Buttimer, 20, of the 5200 block of Washington Street in Downers Grove, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. in the 1400 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged on two failure to appear warrants from DuPage County, and taken to the DuPage County jail. 

Manufacture/delivery of cannabis

Eric Thomas Maschmeier, 21, of the 800 block of South Julian Street, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. at his home, police said. with manufacture/delivery of 30 to 500 grams of cannabis, and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Suspended license

Deepak Agarwal, 36, of the 2500 block of Adamsway Drive in Aurora, was arrested at 9:40 a.m. in the 1100 block of Sequoia Road and Plainfield-Naperville Road, according to police. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. 

Fleeing

Amber M. Stewart, 26, of the 200 block of North Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 11:58 a.m. at the intersection of County Club Boulevard and West Diehl Road, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and fleeing police. Police said she fled on foot after she was stopped, and was later found inside Cracker Barrel.

Unlicensed

Faustino Ramos, 34, of the 600 block of Grove Street in Aurora, was arrested at 11:29 p.m. at South Route 59 and 83rd Street, police said. He was charged with driving without a rear registration plate lights and driving without a license. His bail was $1,500.

Theft

A 51-year-old man in the 2700 block of Fitness Drive reported Sunday that his locker was broken into and his wallet containing credit cards, identification and cash was stolen.
