Resisting a peace officer
Derek David Smith, 40, of the 500 block of Pinewood Drive in North Aurora, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. in the first block of West Franklin Avenue, said. He was charged with battery, resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct. His bail was $1,500.
Domestic battery

Tony Savino Mastrolonardo, 48, of the 1200 block of Barbara Court, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. at his home, police said. He was charged with two counts of domestic battery and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Willie James Thomas, 33, of the 1400 block of South 15th Street in Maywood, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. in the 2900 block of Audrey Avenue, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $2,500.
Driving under the influence
David Allen Thompson, 40, of the 4100 block of 191st Court in Country Club Hills, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. near Diehl Road and Eola Road, police said. He was charged with driving on suspended/revoked license, driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession/transportation of liquor, operating a vehicle without insurance and a failure-to-appear warrant. His bond was $300.
