Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct, Driving a Stolen Vehicle, Speeding

Friday, Aug. 26

Disorderly conduct

  • Laura Ann Gaus, 22, of the 0 block of N342 Fanchon Street, Carol Stream, was arrested at 3:26 a.m. in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said. Her bond was $120.
  • Jared David King, 24, of the 2100 block of Bradford Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 3:26 a.m. in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said. His bond was $120.
  • Michael John Ruta, 26, of the 700 block of Riedy Road, Lisle, was arrested at 3:26 a.m. in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said. His bond was $120.
  • Stephanie Lynn McNally, 24, of the 800 block of South Road, Lisle, was arrested at 3:26 a.m. in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said. Her bond was $120.
  • Peter Joseph Alexenko, 25, of the 800 block of Benedetti Drive was arrested at his home at 3:26 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said. His bond was $120.
  • Bryan Lewis Davis, 22, of the 300 block of Waxwing Avenue, was arrested at 3:26 p.m. in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive on charges of interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct, police said. His bond was $120.
  • Richard James Tearney, 31, of W 7124 Old Highway 70, Wisconsin, was arrested at 6:19 a.m. in the 1300 block of Crab Apple Court on a charge of disorderly conduct, police said. His bond was $170.

Suspended/revoked license

Mauricio Saldana-Martinez, 24, of the 100 block of Beacon Ridge, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:27 a.m. in the 1400 block of S. Route 59 and Beebe Drive on a charge of driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $1,500.

Warrant arrests

  • Anthony Michael Green, 19, of the 1300 block of Danhof Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. in the 500 block of S. Washington Street on a failure to appear warrant for mob action from Will County, police said. His bail was $5,000.
  • Chong H. Sul, 47, of the 1400 block of Danhof Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 10:04 a.m. at South Naper Boulevard and Bakewell Lane on a failure to appear warrant.
  • Christopher William Skedd, 22, of the 1600 block of Redpoll Court, was arrested at 6:51 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department where he turned himself in on a warrant, police said. His bail was $25,000.

Driving under the influence

  • Timothy Bert Frazier, 43, of the 500 block of Slaker Court, North Aurora, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road and North Route 59 on charges of resisting an officer, disobeying a traffic signal, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver, driving without insurance and driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Nicholas D. Pratsch-Woolworth, 25, of the 15000 block of South Howard Street, Plainfield, was arrested at 1:31 a.m. in the 70 block of E. Chicago Avenue on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Jene Grace Lee, 25, of the 13000 block of South Golden Meadow Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. in the 3000 block of Rock Road and South Route 59 on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, not having his driver’s license with him and following too closely. His bail was $3,000.

Criminal trespass

Gregory Roman Dmyterko, 19, of the 1500 block of North Loomis Street, was arrested at 9:05 a.m. in the 700 block of East Bauer Road on a charge of criminal trespass to land, police said.

Criminal damage

Police said a 56-year-old man in the 1500 block of Chippewa Drive reported that a car was damaged between 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday. A sharp object caused a long scratch along the front passenger-side door. There also was a large dent over the wheel well.

Saturday, Aug. 27

Driving under the influence

  • Karinna Arellano, 27, of the 500 block of North Oakley Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 4:15 a.m. in the 2900 block of Rollingridge Road and South Route 59 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane use, police said. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Anthony Josephy Placek, 39, of the 700 block of Sun Glow Court, DeKalb, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. in the 2900 block of 83rd Street and South Route 59 on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding over the limit. His bail was $3,000.
  • Patrick Ryan Gilbert, 26, of the 0 block of S201 Marblehead Court, was arrested at 2:33 a.m. in the 1200 block of Cheshire Avenue and Olesen Drive on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal lane use. His bond was $3,000.
  • Christopher Joseph Krob, 49, of the 1000 block of Penny Lane, Wheaton, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Washington Street and East Warrenville Road on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and failing to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions. His bond was $100.

Manufacture

Jonathan James Weirich, 31, of the 30 block of W 143 Annie Glidden Road, DeKalb, was arrested at 3 a.m. in the 1100 block of Cornell Lane, Yorkville, on charges of manufacturing and distributing a look-alike substance, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Theft

Erika Rojas, 18, of the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 11:16 a.m. in the 1900 block of Glacier Park Avenue on charges of theft and retail theft, police said.

Kanesha S. Cathina, 19, of the 1100 block of Light Road, Oswego, was arrested in the 2600 block of Aurora Avenue on a charge of retail theft, police said. Her bail was $1,500.

Felony arrest

Christian Cruz-Rivera, 25, of the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 7:44 a.m. in the 500 block of 75th Street and Wehrli Road, police said. He was charged with an improper plate/permit display, operating without insurance and Illinois Vehicle Code felonies, police said. He was stopped while driving a stolen vehicle from Aurora. He had test driven the vehicle a day and half prior to the theft.  He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Warrant service

Demetrius Carol Jeffries, 19, of the 1300 block of Elder Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 7:32 p.m. in the 2600 block of Aurora Avenue on a warrant and for retail theft, police said. Her bail was $25,000. She was taken to the DuPage County jail.

Street racing

Austin Nicholas Muscato, 22, of the 23000 block of Douglas Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. in the 2900 block of Artesian Drive and South Route 59 on charges of street racing and speeding more than 40 miles per hour over the limit. His bond was $100.

Speeding

Juliet Edmund, 31, of the 8000 block of David Drive, Woodridge, was arrested at 3:41 p.m. in the 0 block of East Gartner Road and South Washington Street on charges of speeding over the limit, driving without a license and obstructing justice, police said. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Revoked license

Monika Dominique Vera, 25, of the 20 block of W527 Country Ridge Drive, Warrenville, was arrested at 3:11 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Diehl Road and North Route 59 on charges of speeding over the limit, driving on a suspended/revoked license and operating a vehicle without insurance, police said. Her bail was $2,000.

Disorderly conduct

Ryan Michael Miser, 20, of the 1300 block of Ginger Lane, was arrested at 9:23 a.m. at home on charges of consumption of liquor by a minor and disorderly conduct, police said. He allegedly said he would “Kick your ass” to three 16-year-olds and an adult who were volunteering at a church. He was in the backyard of a home backing to the church. He also broke part of the wood fence while yelling at victims and scaring them.

Sunday, Aug. 28

Driving under the influence

  • Carlos Varela, 27, of the 100 block of Beltran Drive, Yorkville, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. in the 1100 block of Aurora Avenue and Wild Cherry Road on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, operating a vehicle without insurance, disobeying a traffic signal, improper lane use, failing to give a signal and illegal possession /transportation of liquor by a driver. His bond was $100.
  • Diane Marie Prange, 34, of the 1600 block of Lonsdale Avenue, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. in the 2000 block of West Ogden Avenue and Rickert Drive on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, making an improper turn at an intersection, driving without a license and speeding. Her bail was $3,000. Police said she was speeding 70 in a 40 mph zone.
  • Rachel Rose Huska, 25, of the 100 block of Oakton Drive, Lombard, was arrested at 2:36 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Ogden Avenue and Millennium Lane on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, a traffic-control violation and driving without lights, police said. Her bond was $100.
  • Sergio A. Contreras, 22, of the 2400 block of Ogden Avenue, Downers Grove, was arrested at 3 a.m. in the 500 block of West Ogden Avenue and Benedetti Drive on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license, improper lane use, using an electronic communication device, obstructing identification and unlawful use of a license permit. His bail was $3,000.

Aggravated assault

Lawrence Strother, 52, of the 2200 block of Summerdale Drive, Broadview, was arrested at 8:06 p.m. in the 2500 block of Bordeaux Lane on two counts of aggravated assault, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Leaving the scene

Lindsey R. Lebak, 19, of the 15000 block of Ingersoll, Plainfield, was arrested at 3:09 p.m. in the 200 block of South Route 59 on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident, police said. Her bond was $120.

Battery

Matthew Craig Knops, 30, of the 300 block of 11th Avenue South, Nashville, Tenn. was arrested at 2:19 a.m. in the 20 block of West Chicago Avenue on a charge of battery, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Speeding

Bradley J. Smith, 26, of the 2900 block of Coastal Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 7:36 a.m. in the 2900 block of 95th Street and South Route 59 on a charge of speeding more than 40 miles over the limit, police said. Police said he was going 111 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Arson

Police said someone reported a small fire in the east end zone of the North Central College football field. Two burned areas were discovered in the end zone where the letters C and L in the word Cardinal were burned out. The source of the fire was found.

Criminal damage

  • A 41-year-old man reported in the 1800 block of Continental Avenue that between 1 p.m. Aug. 27 and 9:45 a.m. Aug. 28, a vehicle’s windshield was accidentally damaged when a shot glass fell from a third-floor balcony.
  • Police said, someone reported in the 2800 block of Showplace drive that a door was damaged when someone glued it or placed a substance between the hinges.
