Police Blotter: Criminal Trespassing, Burglary, Identity Theft

Naperville Police Department reports, June 20

Identity theft

Ashley Nicole Young, 28, of the 400 block of Turf Lane in Wheaton, was arrested at 4:50 p.m. in the 37W700 block of Route 38 in St. Charles, said. She was charged with three counts of identity theft and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Warrant arrest

  • Paul Jerome Widauf, 43, of the 800 block of Emerald Drive, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. at the 1350 Aurora Ave., the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant after he came to the Naperville Police Department to file a report and discovered that there was an active warrant for his arrest. His bond was $350.
  • Dennis Wayne Harkins, 53, of the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, was arrested at 1:21 p.m. near Cedarbrook and Modaff roads, police said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. His bond was $575.
  • Helen Angela Lukowich, 62, of the 1100 block of Bangs Street in Aurora, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. near North Eagle Street and West Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with expired registration, driving on a suspended/revoked license and a failure to appear warrant. Her bail was $1,500. 
  • Cornelius Jefferson Morris, 42, of the 2300 block of Madison Avenue in Newport News, was arrested at 8:07 p.m. in the 2200 block of Spartina Road, police said. He was charged with soliciting without a permit and a failure to appear warrant. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Criminal trespass

  • Kevin Thomas Morin, 22, of the 2400 block of Adams in Columbus, was arrested at 7:23 p.m. in the 900 block of Hobson Road, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to land and bail bond violation. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Kelsey Ann Richmond, 18, of the 600 block of Oak Street in North Aurora, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. in the 300 block of Claremont Court, police said. She was charged with criminal trespass to a building. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Ellesa Danae Cokinis, 18, of the 100 block of Timberoaks Drive in North Aurora, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. in the 300 block of Claremont Court, police said. She was charged with possession of liquor by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis and criminal trespass to a building. Her bail was $1,500.
  • Nicholas David Marema, 18, of the 100 block of Gardner Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. in the 300 block of Claremont Court, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to a building. His bail was $1,500.

Burglary

Derek Stephen Burde, 37, of the 2400 block of Carlton Drive in Woodridge, was arrested at 4:28 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged with burglary and forgery. His bail was $25,000.

Property theft 

  • A metal plant stand was stolen in the 1000 block of Oswego Road, police said.
  • A metal fire pit and torch were stolen in the 1000 block of Oswego Road, police said.

Bike runs into van

A bicyclist crossed 75th Street and ran into a van traveling eastbound, police said.

Someone entered an open Jeep Wrangler and took a garage door opener and gym bag with running shoes inside of it in the 2500 block of Bordeaux Lane, police said.
