Police Blotter: Criminal Damage with Condiments

Warrant arrest

Derrick Flournoy, 40, of the 200 block of Hudson Court, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 7:56 p.m. at East 75th Street and South Naper Boulevard on a warrant and was charged with driving without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.

Suspended license

Darryl A. Fife, 27, of the 1300 block of North Harlem Avenue, Oak Park, was arrested at 11 a.m. at Meridian Lakes Drive and North Route 59, Aurora, where he was charged with driving on a suspended license, police said.

Vehicle burglary

  • A 45-year-old man in the 200 block of 13th Avenue reported an overnight burglary to his vehicle, police said. It was not stated whether anything was stolen.
  • A 31-year-old man in the 1400 block of Pine Tree Drive reported that on Sept. 10 a wallet was stolen off the seat of an unlocked vehicle, police said.

Criminal damage

  • A 49-year-old man in the 4100 block of Easy Circle reported that between 10 and 10:30 p.m. Sept. 9 someone smashed a jar of Jewel-brand coleslaw onto the vehicle, police said.
  • A 51-year-old man in the 1600 block of Riparian Drive reported that between 11 and 11:59 p.m. Saturday someone took mayonnaise and a salad dressing and dumped it on his vehicle, police said. 

Suspicious incident

said a resident in the 300 block of West 5th Avenue reported finding a bag containing a small amount of marijuana and a pipe behind her garage.
