Police Blotter: Creepy Texts, DUI Arrests, Tires Punctured

Naperville Police Department reports, Feb. 21

Driving under the influence

  • Sam Gerardo Garza, 21, was arrested at 1:57 a.m. in the 1700 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 
  • Victor Ronald Naskrent, 60, was arrested at 6:25 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 
  • Justin Cairney Pogge, 32, was arrested at 11:03 p.m. near Fairway Drive and Campbell Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He posted bond. 

Illegal possession/transportation of liquor

Daniel Dewayne Dagen, 28, was arrested near Ogden Avenue and North Washington Street, police said. He was charged with illegal possession/transportation of liquor. He posted bond.

Assault arrest

Samuel Milton Epperson, 43, was arrested at 5:44 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with assault and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Warrant arrest

Ignacio Flores, 26, was arrested at 4:20 a.m. in the 2200 block of Glouceston Lane, police said. He was charged on a warrant. He posted bond. 

Battery

Keith Brian Klingeman, 39, was arrested at 9:05 p.m. in the 800 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with battery. He posted bond. 

Tires punctured

Two tires were punctured on a car in the 1200 block of Rickert Drive, police said.

iPhone stolen

An Apple iPhone 4S was stolen from an unlocked locker in the 2300 block of 95th Street, police said.

Comforter stolen

A bed comforter was reported stolen after it was delivered by UPS in the 100 block of Testa Drive, police said.

Needle found

A hypodermic needle was found in the 1100 block of North Brainard Street, police said. 

Creepy texts

Someone received text messages from unknown numbers which read: "I SEE YOU" and "I'M COMING FOR YOU," in the 1400 block of Culpepper Drive, police said. The messages were sent to the phone via internet.
