Police Blotter: Computer Tampering, Frisky Thief, Retail Theft Arrests

Computer tampering

Fred William Abrams, 48, of the 1300 block of East Chicago Avenue, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. in the first block of East Chicago Avenue, Naperville Police Department said. He was charged with two counts of computer tampering and violation of protection order. He was transported to DuPage County Jail. 

No driver's license

Victor Alfonso Perez, 19, of the 1100 block of Brunswick Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the first block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. He was charged with speeding and no driver’s license. His bail was $1,500.

Warrant arrest

Joy Nicole Singleton, 29, of the 11100 block of South Green Street in Chicago, was arrested at 11:33 a.m. in the first block of West Bauer Road, police said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant, no insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Her bail was $12,000.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Katharyn Ann Ciesilski, 25, of the 29W500 block of County Ridge Road in Warrenville, was arrested at 1:16 p.m. in the 300 block of South Route 59, police said. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver's license and defective side/rear windshield. Her bail was $1,500.

Criminal trespass to land

Yolanda Huerta, 24, of the 4400 block of Black Partridge in Lisle, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. in the first block of South Washington Street, police said. She was charged with criminal trespass to land. Her bond was $120.

Retail theft

  • Joshua David Sandoval, 20, of the 800 block of Taylor Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 7:46 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.
  • Christopher Jack Loyd, 21, of the 800 block of North Fordham Avenue in Aurora, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bond was $120.
  • Terric Jerome Ratz, 23, of the 3000 block of Ravinia Circle in Aurora, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Aurora, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bail was $1,500.

Suspended/revoked license

Paul Daniel Puleo, 34, of the 13000 block of Choctaw Trail in Homer Glen, was arrested at 9:47 p.m. in the 2800 block of Aurora Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and no insurance. His bail was $2,000.

Car entered

A passenger window of a car was pried open and the ignition was tampered with in the 1800 block of Centre Point Circle, police said.

GPS stolen

A GPS was stolen from a car parked in a driveway in the 400 block of Gateshead Drive, police said.

Stolen wallet

A wallet with house keys and $100 cash inside was stolen along with a 64GB iPhone 4s in the 800 block of South Washington Street, police said.

Frisky thief

Retail theft of condoms was reported in the 700 block of South Route 59, police said.
